Unexpected romance (Bowser x Luigi)

Luigi was on his porch on a rocking chair. Nothing eventful was happening that day so Luigi was just playing games on his handheld console and watching Polterpup all day. Luigi looked at the time on the system. 6:55 it read. He looked up at the sky only to find that the sky had gotten dark with rain clouds.

Luigi whistled "Pulterpup! Its time to go inside!"

Pulterpup barked and started to return back to Luigi when he found a squirrel running past him. Pulterpup easily got distracted and started running after the squirrel.

"Pulterpup! Stop!" Luigi put his console on the rocking chair and ran after Pulterpup.

Luigi stopped running to catch his breath. It had already started to rain heavily and he was now soaking wet. Luigi looked to his left and his right but Pulterpup was unfortunately nowhere to be found. In fact, the scenery had changed too. The terrain was more black and rocky then lush with healthy trees and flowers. How long was he running again.

"Luigi?" Asked an extremely familiar loud voice. Luigi turned around to see Bowser in a raincoat, a rain hat, and an umbrella. "What are you doing in the rain?"

"Trying to find Pulterpup" Luigi sighed "You haven't happen to find him have you"

Bowser smiled "Come with me" he gave Luigi his umbrella which he took happily.

This wasn't the first time that Luigi and Bowser had a friendly encounter. In fact, they had actually become pretty good friends throughout these few months. This was a pretty good thing because after they became friends Bowser stopped kidnapping the princess and the mushroom kingdom. However, if Luigi had to be honest, he really enjoyed his little friendship with Bowser, even if it gave no benefits to the mushroom kingdom. He loved Bowser's company. He loved how they could just talk and he wasn't afraid to be himself with him. He loved when he learned more about him. He loved how his tail would wag whenever he was happy. He loved his genuine smiles. He loved-

"Woah!" Luigi tripped and almost fell into the lava. Bowser grabbed him him quickly. He pulled Luigi close to him.

"You okay?"

"Y-Yeah" Luigi stuttered, his clumsiness had gone against him again.

Bowser inspected Luigi, looking for any injuries or burns. Luigi's face heated up. When Bowser found that Luigi was okay he shrugged and continued to walk to the castle. Luigi shock off his stunnedness and ran towards the castle.

Luigi hummed as his hair got blow dried by Bowser's minions . His original clothes were in the wash because of the rain so he was wearing one of Bowser's shirts that basically covered his whole entire body. Pulterpup was also enjoying his time there, sleeping on Luigi's stomach.

"How did you even catch him?" Luigi questioned "You can never have a good grip on him considering hes a ghost"

"My dry bones actually caught him. They can interact with ghost just fine. Once they found him I went outside to look for you cause I knew you would be near" Bowser chuckled "I'm still surprised that you kept him even though your deathly afraid of anything supernatural"

"Heh yeah" luigi rubbed the back of his head "I mean, he's still a little scary. He jump scares me everyday. I think he does it for fun" Luigi said in exhaustion.

"Heh thats my kinda dog"

Luigi rolled his eyes "BUT I always believe that beauty can be seen in even the scariest of creatures" Luigi looked up at Bowser and blushed. "And my beliefs have been supported by Pulterpup and you"
