Super Mario oneshots (Request open)

So my new neighbor is a ghost pt.2 (King boo x Luigi)

It was a warm sunny Tuesday day when King Boo walked up the hill to the Mario brother's house. He decided to bring an umbrella to shade himself from the sun. Even though he was human, he wasn't used to being in the light. King Boo yawned as he threaded up the hill.

He was extremely busy yesterday setting up for his plan. He found an old abandoned house nearby the hill Mario and Luigi lived on. It was a bit of a fixer upper but it was nothing that a little bit of Boo magic couldn't fix. He also practiced walking, running, and holding things with his hands.

What was his plan exactly? Well to trick Luigi into coming into his house again and trapping him inside a painting. Except now he wouldn't be suspicious at all because it was his "friendly" neighbor who would be inviting him.

King boo sighed as he approached the door of his enemy's house. It was going to be a struggle to keep up this friendly persuade but he reminded himself it would all be worth it in the end. He knocked on the door and waited.

Surely enough Luigi opened the door a few seconds later. He looked up quizzically at King Boo but showed no signs that he recognized him. So far he was in the clear.

"Um..Hello sir" Luigi greeted "If your looking for my brother then I'm sorry but he is off to save the princess. He should be here soon thou-"

"Oh no, no. I'm not here for him" King boo waved the thought away. "I've just come to meet my new neighbors."

"N-Neighbors?"

"Ah yes it seems that you haven't heard. I live only a few feet away from you"

"Oh"

Awkward silence

"W-Well I wasn't expecting visitors but... would you like to come in?"

"Why it would be my pleasure" King Boo said sarcastically as he pushed Luigi out the way. He observed the house. Small and cramped. He couldn't be too surprised, living like poor people even though they had a great income seemed like something the Mario brothers would do. He collapsed on the couch . Walking was tiring.

"Would you like something to drink" Luigi offered.

"No, not really" King Boo, dismissed. Luigi nodded slightly before sitting on a small part of the couch King Boo wasn't taking up.

"So... um... what made you decide to come to the mushroom kingdom."

King Boo looked at Luigi. He didn't exactly want to talk to him but if he wanted to trick him into thinking they were friends it would be a necessary action.

"Well, simply put, I wanted to get out of my old neighborhood. Everyone there was super mean and judgmental and I just couldn't surround myself in that environment anymore" King Boo said, trying to create a fake back story "Unfortunately that meant leaving my family behind"

"Oh no" Luigi said with sad eyes "I'm sure it was hard for you to separate from your family"

"Yes" King boo said, trying to sound as sad as possible. "Enough about me though! How about yourself?"

The two talked for a while, with Luigi doing most of the talking. King Boo didn't want to create more fake stories. King Boo found that it was strangely easy to talk to Luigi and he was actually enjoying some of his stories. However, he couldn't lose focus on what he came here to do. Otherwise he would have done all this for nothing.

"-and then I threw him 20 feet in the air! I didn't even know I had that strength in me! And then that old koopa came crashing down, landing flat on his face!"

King Boo tried to suppress a laugh as Luigi finished his story . He would totally be found out if he did. Instead he decided to compliment Luigi.

"Your a pretty strong hero, Luigi. Nobody can defeat you" No one except me, King Boo giggled to himself.

Luigi blushed at the flattery "Oh I wouldn't say nobody" Luigi said "My brother is way better at this hero thing then I am"

As if on cue the door suddenly opened to reveal Mario, his clothes a little out of shape but he was ultimately unharmed. "Ahi Luigi! How are ya! I hope you didn't miss me too much" He giggled to himself but stopped when he noticed King Boo in the room. "Who's our new visitor?"

"Ha! Speak of the devil" Luigi said as he rushed to his brother and hugged him. "It's good to see you big bro. Oh! And gow can I forget" Luigi motioned for King Boo to come closer. He was kind of nervous but he obliged.

"Mario this I our new neighbor! He told me he moved in yesturday and he wanted to say hi!" Luigi said, innocent and cheerful.

King Boo reached out his hand and smiled wide. Maybe a bit too wide. "Hello"

Mario took his hand but stared at him quizzically and narrowed his eyes. King Boo started sweating, the guy was definitely suspicious. Did he know it was him? Did he see right through him? No. As long as he didn't do anything that confirmed his suspicious he would have some thought and hesitate to question him. King Boo looked straight into Mario's eyes, never faltering.

After a few seconds, Mario's face changed and he was now wearing his sickingly sweet happy expression that he normally did. King Boo sighed in relief. He didn't see him as a threat, he was safe.

"It's nice to meet! Its always nice to meet new faces in the mushroom kingdom. I can't wait to learn more about you mr...?"

"Oh that's right!" Luigi said in realization "You never told me your name."

King Boo froze. Right. A name. He had never really thought about it but now he was mentally kicking himself in the butt. Well no time to back out now.

"My name is... Bobby!"

"Bobby?" Mario mumbled "That's a weird name"

"Mario! Be nice!"

"Sorry! Sorry!" Mario apologized. "It's just...you seem so familiar. I swear I met you before but I don't know where"

"Heh I-I don't think we met before" King Boo said, nervously.

"Maybe you and Bobby met on one of your adventures, Mario" Luigi suggested "And you just forgot about each other because it's been a while"

Mario thought about it "Yea your probably right Luigi" Mario shrugged "No use in racking my brain to remember. What's important is that you're here with us now!" Mario yawned. "Now if you excuse me I need a much needed nap"

Luigi waved as he watched his brother walk to the door "Night Night"

King Boo waved goodbye too. That was a close one. He needed to leave before anyone had time to figure out that he was more then a random neighbor. "Well I guess I should go"

"Already" Luigi said with a sad puppy dog face. It should be illegal to be so cute.

King Boo blushed as he turned away. "Yes"

"Oh! Well thanks for staying with us. It was nice too meet you and, well, I hope we can meet each other again" Luigi looked up at him with a happy genuine smile and King Boo couldn't help but smile too.

"We can only hope"

There was going to be SO much more to this story then this but I quickly realized that I hated writing this ship and started to procrastinate.

It's not like I hate this ship or anything but I do find that it's a struggle to write a ship that I personally do not ship without some sort of synopsis on what the requestor wants.
