* Venkat meets Sreeja

Everyone in Sreeja's house are in full swing for the alliance meet. Sreeja was asked to wear a new saree which her mom bought. This time Dhanam made sure to use new things and remove all the unlucky items on their way.

She bought new saree for Sreeja and even stitched her blouse with a different tailor,made sure the sweets and flowers she buys are from different shop and even changed the cooking menu for the guests.

"Maa.. you are doing too much maa. Your daughter is the unlucky fellow, why do you want to blame others for my unluckiness in marriage? Whatever you are doing is wrong."

"You just shut up.. this time it's my time. I want this to work out somehow. And I have something to tell you. You strictly must follow it this time."

Sreeja: "Maa, how can I manage without specs?"

Dhanam: "No need of Specs... already proposals got rejected because of this"

Sreeja: "Maa.. that's ok but I can't see properly without specs. Then how would I meet the guy?"

Dhanam: "No need of you to see. We will see and that is enough"

Sreeja : "Maaaa"

Dhanam:  "what why are you shouting. You should have listened to us . how many times we have told you not to sit in front of TV for a long time, it will spoil your eyesight nu. Did you ever listen. Your father started wearing specs only at the age of 50. But you started wearing your specs from 7th standard. At this age you are telling you can't see properly without specs ".

"When I was at your age , my parents went and fixed the engagement. I was not even invited and got to see your father only in marriage. Now don't waste time with me and go get ready soon , remember the rules I told you."

At Venkat's house:

As usual Venkat was loaded with similar kind of advices on how to behave. This time he was asked to wear Red shirt and blue jean. That red shirt was something which Venkat did not like. Hey... Subhi.. I don't like this at all di.. we will change.

"No no.. this is the lucky one . so wear this or else you are not coming to meet."

"Very good.. then I will not come . I have no issues"

"Hello bro.. what father meant was even if you don't come we are going to fix this alliance and you just need to come attend your marriage , tie thalli. Don't go overboard. Just wear whatever we are saying."

"If you come now at least you will get a chance to see the girl in person. Else straight marriage. I know you are finding ways to avoid coming today so you can go attend the match. In your dreams bro " said Subhi.

Venkat was forced to cancel his plans of going to football match as the good timings to meet the girl was in the morning. He mentally scolded Sreeja and her family for this.

"Venkat... you are going to turn 30 next year. Once you turn 30 it is difficult to get girl for you. So think well before you make any decision said Vasu who left wearing his watch"
