Mr and Mrs Unromantic

* About Venkat

Sreeja came to office while crying in the train. Everyone looked at her with pity. Though she controlled her emotions and started to work, she was not able to concentrate and started crying badly in front of everyone in office.

She did not speak with anyone and was just crying. Her Manager advised her to go home but Sreeja denied going anywhere.

With much persistence, her colleagues sent her to the dorm to take rest. Sreeja was not able to sleep well thinking about all the possibilities of future, what would venkat think, her inlaws think about society and everything. 

Not able to withstand her emotions she dialled Venkat. Sreeja started to cry heavily when he picked up the call.

"Sreeja,  what happened? why are you crying? Tell me "

There was no response but only crying from Sreeja with his name called out in between.

"Sreeja , already my Manager is looking at me like I am spending time outside without working, if it is important tell me now or else will talk later. I don't know why you are crying as well"

Sreeja narrated what happened in a nutshell to him. 

"They told me I can't get pregnant Venkat" Sreeja started crying heavily.

"Ei.. loosu, what are you talking ? First stop crying, and let me know clearly what happened"

Sreeja explained what the Doctor said. " Venkat , I badly need to see you Venkat right now.  Can you please come tomorrow to chennai. Please , please Please Venkat"

Venkat was not able to believe what she was saying. Though It was a shock, he did not want to believe it right away , as he knew about Sreeja well. Even if it is a small thing, she would create it as a big issue. 

For the time being he pacified her with assurance that he will come. Later in the evening , with heavy heart, Sreeja went to her in laws house.

By the time she reached, her inlaws became aware of her problems , through the Relative Doctor who referred them, also working  as a  Senior Consultant in the same hospital.

Hearing the news, Venkat's father felt very sad and even started shedding tears thinking about it. Latha too was not able to digest still she managed not to show that in front of everyone and make all upset. 

Seeing their state, Sreeja's guilt grew higher and locked herself in to the room and started crying. 

At night, when Venkat called his mother, she narrated whatever was told to Sreeja in the hospital. Venkat who first did not take Sreeja's words seriously now understood the seriousness of the situation.

Sreeja was in her room devoid of eating and drinking anything . She did not know what her in laws were thinking or talking about. Did not know what was Venkat's reaction  after hearing it. He has not called her at all till now. 

With much effort from Subhi and Latha, Sreeja ate a little. She was not able to swallow her food as well with the amount of heartbreak she was going through. Only after Latha shouted at her Sreeja ate something. 

"Sreeja , we can ask two more Doctor's opinion . Why do you want to conclude with just one doctor?"

"But I was examined by 4 Specialist Doctors, everyone were present and they told I can't get pregnant" Sreeja told with tears in her eyes.

"Doctors are not God's. You should have confidence and belief in God. Everything will happen. Think positively Sreeja.

Let's see what else can we do to get pregnant. Think about that rather than crying over the spilled milk" Latha Advised. But Sreeja went on with her crying.
