Mr and Mrs Unromantic

Few days passed normally for the couples. Sreeja got her periods 10 days late. Her mother felt sad about it and spoke to Venkat's mom.

Latha  convinced her that its just a month and not to rush them in to anything or ask them anything about it. 

Those three days, Sreeja was staying alone in her room, while Venkat went to the other room.

She missed Venkat and his touch so much. Sleeping alone without hugging him or throwing legs on him was a torture for her. 

After her periods got over, on a weekend, Venkat's family planned their trip to the family deity in mayavaram. Sreeja's mom too accompanied them. They all booked a 7 seater eeco van for travel. 

Vasu(Venkat's father) sat in the front seat along with driver. Sreeja and Subhi sat in the middle of the seat. Hoping that Venkat would sit along with her, Sreeja was awaiting him.

Venkat who came after locking the door and checking it twice, gave the keys to his father.

Venkat's mom and Sreeja's mom were supposed to sit at the back seat. Since Latha had knee pain, she was not able to get in to the back seat due to its height.  He made Sreeja go to the back and made his mother sit in the front. 

Seeing all this , Sreeja's mom offered to sit in the front seat , so that Venkat and Sreeja can sit together at the back.

But he denied stating, he gets vomiting sensation if he sit at the very back. Moreover, since he is tall, it is comfortable for him only in the middle seat. 

Her mom, asked at least subhi to come at the back , so the newly wed couples can sit together. But Subhi too denied stating , she has the same problem as Venkat.

Sreeja's mom felt irritated and thought why his parents too are not saying anything. She remained silent after Sreeja pleaded her with her eyes.

They went to a small village in mayavaram at the early morning. One of their relatives stay there, hence there to stay. The couples were given a separate room to sleep while other went to sleep in other room on the mat lying on the floor. 

Feeling very tired and uncomfortable with the car travel, immediately venkat and Sreeja slept after lying on the cot. Within 10 minutes they heard a scream from Sreeja. Venkat too opened his eyes to see her lying on the floor  rubbing her back. 

The cot was a very olden wooden cot at a big height from the floor. Sreeja who has the habit of rolling on the bed fell from it. Hearing the knock on the door, Venkat went opened the door and  narrated what happened. 

To avoid falling again, they asked her to sleep on the floor with others while Venkat slept on the cot in other room.

Sreeja mentally scolded herself to the situation she caused. After a long travel, this is when she got time to be with him, but she spoiled it all by herself. 

Later they all got ready and went to the temple, did pooja and offerings. Sreeja was wearing a nine yard saree and looked  like a small girl.

Her leanness was making her appear like a school kid dressed in saree.  Venkat teased Sreeja as she resembled like Kokila from the movie "Meendum Kokila" with her small bare waist visible. She had difficulty in walking and performing pooja wearing the saree.

Inside the temple, some of the visitors, looked at her surprisingly. One of them , even indirectly scolded Venkat for doing a child marriage. Hearing it Subhi and Sreeja laughed.After performing the pooja , they went to pray to other deities in the temple.

Most of the time, wherever Venkat went, Subhi too accompanied him. Sreeja's mom felt irritated but was in a position not to say anything.

When they first went inside their family deity temple, Sreeja wanted to hold hands with Venkat and go together.
