Days passed with usual routine.  Sreeja was living her life with a sad face all the time thinking about her problems. After few months, as the allopathy medicines are not working, Sreeja was taken for consultation to Siddha doctor .

It was recommended by one of their relatives, who initially had problems in pregnancy ,which later got sorted out and now have 2 kids of their own.

After taking few tests and examination,the Doctor confirmed that,she indeed has complications in pregnancy.

He also confirmed that the other problems mentioned by the Doctors previously are just possibilities and she does not have any of those.

 The Siddha Doctor prescribed her some medicines and changes in food habits.Those medicines were literally bitter and does not taste good. Still with no other choice, Sreeja had them.

Whenever she was on periods, those days too, she was given a kashayam(Syrup) which tasted the worst for her. It's been few months and Sreeja got accustomed to any type of bitter food and medicines. 

As the days passed on Subhi's marriage was the hot topic amongst the family members. Everyday Venkat would get up late, and then get busy with getting ready to office. When in office he does not chat or talk with Sreeja. 

Though he comes late from office, he immediately goes in to the other room, sit along with his family members and discuss about general things & Subhi's marriage alliance.

Night he would retire very late around 12. 30 or 1 pm to his room. By the time he comes, mostly sreeja would doze off to sleep.

Extremely busy with her office and household work till 10 pm , Sreeja did not bother much about Venkat not talking with her on the day.

But the least she expected from Venkat was to talk with her some sweet nothings, at least when they both are alone in the room at night, which Venkat did not do.

Sreeja was getting frustrated with the monotonous routine of her life. Already irritated with so much problems in her life, her anger grew more with the thought of Venkat spending more time with Subhi discussing about her alliance. 

There were 2 to 3 alliances which came to meet Subhi. Sreeja had some sort of fear that her future inlaws might question her or ask anything about her not getting pregnant with the way they look. 

Sreeja is a person who says whatever goes on in her mind to Venkat, whether it is correct or not. Whenever she thinks or talks about her pregnancy, tears would dwell up in her eyes like a big pool. 

One of the elder in the alliance who came to meet Subhi , mocked Sreeja making her feel insulted.

"your manni(sis in law) looks like a more problematic one. Her looks say that she is someone who always fights with you all"

Sreeja told about this to Venkat at night and cried. But Venkat on the contrary convinced her not to take someone else words in to heart.

Whereas Sreeja could not bear it , as this is not the first time she is hearing this comment. Till now she has heard it from 2 to 3 people from whom they came to see Subhi.

In the subsequent days, Subhi's marriage proposal which they thought was going good was stopped due to some or the other reasons. This happened twice.  Venkat felt irritated at Sreeja. 

Everytime when things were going smooth, Sreeja would cry or fight for some or the other reason and the next 2 days, they would hear news stating, Subhi's marriage alliance did not want to proceed further.

Once, Sreeja went and stayed in her parents house for some reason . At that time, when she tried to call Venkat in the evening, he denied talking with her stating he will call her later.
