With the hope of getting good news, Sreeja and Venkat's day's passed. Its been a week since Sreeja got her periods. 

Sreeja does not want to reveal about any of this to anyone. She wanted to tell everyone as a surprise if in case she is pregnant. But that is impossible for her to happen with Venkat, who tells about everything to his family.

Venkat and Sreeja tested it with pregnancy kit which resulted in failure. Latha advised that some times the kit will not work and suggested testing again with a different brand. They both went and bought another one from the pharmacy and tested again.

The test went invalid which made them get irritated. With lot of hesitation they went and bought another pregnancy kit on the same day 

"Venkat, even the shop keeper will be fed up with  giving us the pregnancy kit everytime. Just like the astrologers who are totally fed up with our horoscope whenever we ask"

"pcch.. we have our purpose. lets not worry about what others think"

They decided to test it in Chennai considering lucky reasons. They have come to a point where they started believing blindly on all these things. The couples would change the direction of sleeping, their bed, rooms, cot and bedsheet covers, even the files of Sreeja they changed the covers for it and placed it in different location as per vastu, with a slight hope of getting pregnant. 

Venkat and Sreeja were in bangalore. Vasu and Latha in chennai. Subhi in US. Latha narrated a story of one her friend's daughter in law who delivered a baby. Raising expectations blindly based on the unbelievable story, latha was asking them continuously to take the test.

The story of Latha's friend's daughter in law goes like this. The girl was not pregnant for a longer time but suddenly her belly seemed to be increasing little but not big enough like a pregnant women. They have not taken any test or scan till 9 months. One day due to severe stomach pain, they met the doctor who urgently suggested admitting her in hospital. In the next half an hour a child was born.

Hearing this story, Sreeja felt very irritated and exasperated at her mother in law for believing this no logic story. Already agitated with the negative results, with Latha's forcing it only irked her much. 

"Venkat, how come your well educated mother is believing in all this stupid stories. It clearly shows they are lying. Even a stupid and dumbest fool will not believe this. And your mother has now started behaving like a normal in law asking me to take test and do other things. She has gone insane"

"Sreejaaaa" shouted Venkat. "Give respect. So what if we take the test again. Its not new for us to get negative results. They too are more eager like us and asking us this."

With lot of irritation, the next day Sreeja took the test. Before taking the test, Venkat warned her not to make any dramas crying and behaving like maniac. Sreeja assured that she is used to all this and would not bother even if it is negative. 

Sreeja remained calm and was walking on the hall. She was doing some random things. It was an unexplainable feeling this time for her controlling her emotions.  Sensing her silence, Venkat asked her what it was. Getting no answer from her, he went to the bathroom to check the kit on his own.

Placing the kit after seeing it, he came to Sreeja and hugged her.There was a silence.Sreeja remained hugging him tight. seconds later,tears started flowing down like a niagara falls for both. 

"you said you will not cry" spoke Venkat with shivering voice, who wiped her tears 

"I am not crying. I will go do the cooking"

"pcch.. no need, we can eat outside today" 

Jiffies later, Venkat left to his office. Few minutes later, Vasu dialled Sreeja.
