I PUT UP SOME SMALL DECORATIONS AROUND THE HOUSE AND PIN THE LAST ONE UP. I took a deep breath and appreciated my work.

"I don't know how to thank you, I mean this is amazing." Jessie said in awe.

"Well, you can thank me when you eat the food I make." I said.

"That's too much of you Quinn, you've done so much. I'll make some of the food please." She said, begging practically.

"Okay fine I'll let you make the food." I said as I put down the cooking pans.

"Thank you!" She said as she kissed my forehead. I felt fuzzy when she did that. So this is love?

"I'm gonna go on a walk." I said.

"Okay, thank you again!" She said. I walked out the door and began walking. The sun was beaming down on me and the wind blew through my red hair. I felt the tips of the tall grass. Rick was out with a nice jacket and a smile on his face. I waved to him and and he waved back. I walked over to him and he gave me a warm hug.

"Wow um, thanks. You look really good." I said.

"Well, might as well make a good impression." He said.

"I'll give you a gold star for that. By the way, tonight there's a party for you guys so you should come." I said.

"I'll have to come, Carl will be stoked to come." He said.

"Yeah, Ron would love for him to be there." I said. And me of course.

"Is everyone invited?"

"Of course, well they can come if they want to of course."

"I'll tell them that they should come."

"They better. Joking of course, but it would be amazing if they can come."

"I'll keep that in mind." He waved me away and I waved back. I walked around the community and everyone was enjoying the weather. I checked my watch that Ron had given me. It was around 7 and it was almost time for the party. I hope some food was made, if not then they can bring their own food. I walked to the door and opened it. The aroma of baked potatoes and cheese filled my nostrils.

"Somethings cooking and it smells delicious." I said as I walked towards the stairs.

"Actually, everything is ready." Jessie said as she took of her apron.

"And it smell delicious." I heard Pete say from the side.

"Well, I'm gonna change." I said as I quickly walked up the stair and to my room. I locked it to make sure and went to my closet. There were three dresses that I wanted to wear tonight. A blue dress with a white skirt that had blue flowers on it, a white dress with splatters of paint that depicted flowers, and a dark, shimmering, purple dress. I went with the purple dress since it was just a welcome partly. Nothing to outgoing, just modest. I took off what I was wearing and slipped on the purple dress. The skirt flowed perfectly and whimsically.

"Perfect." I whispered. I put on my converses since I didn't own a pair of heels and unlocked my door. Surprisingly, Ron was at my door.

"Hey, you should get ready for the party." I said. He stood there stunned.

"Wow... you look beautiful." He said. I tucked my hair back and smiled.

"Well thank you but you should be saying that to your girlfriend when she comes."

"She's actually... not coming. She said that she wasn't up for it and that she just wanted to be by herself than crowded with other people."

"Oh, it's alright. Totally understand." I said sincerely.

"Nice sneakers." He said.

"Yeah well I don't own a pair of heels and I'm not wearing heels for anything." I said. I walked past him and went downstairs. I saw people already coming in and my adrenaline kicked it. I wasn't a big fan of crowds but I didn't have to worry about that since it was the end of the world and most walkers would walk alone but sometimes would herd up. I began to breathe really fast.

"Quinn, you okay?" He asked as he placed his hand on my back.

"Yeah, I used to have a big fear of crowds." I said.

"Oh, well take a deep breath and take a minute before you walk in. That's what I do when I'm scared." He said as he gently pushed me down to the step. I took some breaths and really calmed myself down, most of the community was now in the house and I saw Carl walk in. He didn't see me but I was ready to surprise him.

"You ready?" He asked as he held out his hand. I grabbed it gently.

"Ready as I can be." I said. We both walked down the stairs and made our entrance to the party. I was a little bit nervous but Ron was there for me the whole way. I saw a couple people from the group, Michonne, Maggie, Abraham, Rick, Rosita, Tara, Eugene, and Carl. I went up to Rick while Ron went to Carl.

"Wow Rick, very stylish." I said. He showed himself off as if he were some type of model.

"You look very nice yourself." I gave him a twirl and smiled.

"One of my favorite dresses that I've picked out. Jessie came over and stood in awe.

"You look so beautiful sweetie." She said as she cuffed my cheeks.

"Thank you, I'm just being modest here." I hugged her as she hugged me back.

"Jessie you know Rick right?" I said.

"I don't believe we've formally met, I've only given him clothes." She said with a laugh.

"Well you two have fun, I'm gonna go find some new people." I walked away from them and went to go find Maggie. I haven't met her yet but she seems like a lovely lady.

"Hey you must be Maggie." I said as I saw her. She looked my way and smiled.

"You must be Quinn." She said as she held out her hand.

"I've heard a lot about you." She gave me a smile.

"And I've heard s lot about you from Jessie."

"Seems like everyone knows me."

"Especially Carl." She said as she dragged out his name.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You could be a perfect match for him."

"Yeah right, I already got out of a relationship, so I don't need another one."

"Well, then give it time. Maybe things will click between you two." I smiled and waved her away. I saw Ron and Carl playing with cards as he laughed. I walked over to them and Ron tapped his shoulder. Carl's eyes looked over to me and they wouldn't come off me.

"Hey." I said as I smiled.

"Wow um you look amazing." Carl said as he pushed some of his hair back.

"Thanks." I twirled my skirt a bit.

"Yeah, although I think it would look better on me." Ron said. I laughed.

"Really? You in this dress would look better. You would stretch it out with your muscular bod."

"You think I'm fit?"

"Dude, you're just a big guy. Not fat or anything, just big." He rolled his eyes.

"I would still look better in it."

"Whatever, you guys wanna ditch the party or stay 'cause I'm up for both." I felt someone behind me and Ron's eyes went wide.

"I think you should stay, plus I need you to do something for me. A party favor." Pete said as the smell of alcohol hit my senses.
