I DRUG MOST OF THE BODIES TO THE CENTRAL AREA OF THE COMMUNITY AND MADE SURE MOST OF THE BODIES HAD WOUNDS ON THEIR HEADS. I knew that most of these bodies were from the community while the others were the people who came to the community to try to kill us. I wiped the sweat off my head and wiped the blood from my hands onto my stained pants. Carl was also helping out but also seemed worried. Was he worried about Enid? I didn't think about it too much and continued dragging bodies. Jessie was also helping out and saw me. she ran over to me and hugged me.
"I'm so glad you're okay, but what happened to your face?" She asked concerned.
"I got attacked by one of those people, but more importantly, are you okay? and is Sam okay?" I asked concerned.
"I'm fine and Sam is okay, but he's been staying in his room a lot, saying that the monsters will come and get him." She said. I sighed.
"This was the last thing that needed to happen today. This is the last thing that needs to happen at all. Rick was right in so many ways and this proved it so." I said.
"Well, I think Deanna will let Rick take control." She said. I smiled.
"How's Ron?" I asked. She gave me a sad look.
"He's been acting strange, maybe it's adolescence? I'm not sure what's going on, but maybe a familiar face will brighten his day." She said. I sighed and dropped the body I was dragging.
"I'll go see him. And I'll apologize to him for what happened." I said. I walked away and saw her beaming with happiness. I walked to her house with stride and opened her door. I saw a bloody mess on the floor and sighed.
"Ron? Are you here?" I asked. No answer. I walked upstairs and found Sam sitting on the floor.
"Hey, Sam," I said. He looked over and gave me a small smile.
"Hey, Quinn. Where have you been?" He asked curiously.
"I've been around, trying to survive and stuff," I said. He smiled.
"I'm glad the monsters didn't get you." He said.
"Me too Sam, me too," I said. I walked farther up the stairs and went to Ron's room. I heard someone in there but they were quiet. I knocked on the door and heard movement.
"Leave me alone, Mom. I don't want to talk to you." He said.
"Not even me?" I said. I heard his footsteps get closer to the door. He slowly opened the door and saw me.
"Hey," I said holding out my arms. He quickly came over to me and hugged me.
"I am sorry about punching you in the face. I shouldn't have done that and it was a stupid thing to do."
"Shut up. I don't care about that, all I care about is that you're here with me, and not in that pile of the dead." I held him tight and sighed. He let go of me and looked m in the eyes.
"I'm sorry for calling you a slut." He said while looking away. I turned his face towards me.
"Don't feel guilty about that, you were angry and so was I. Let's just forget that argument and start over." He smiled and hugged me one more time. I hugged him back and kissed his cheek. He turned to me and smiled.
"From Enid," I said.
"Where is she?" He asked. My heart broke. He didn't know that she had left.
"I thought you knew.." I said. His face slowly dropped.
"She's dead?" He asked.
"No, no, no, She left the community, saying that this place isn't right for her and that it's never going to change. I tried to stop her but she was persistent on going." I said.
"I knew she was going to do this, but I don't care, it's her life, she can do what she wants and I have no control over it." He said. He sat down on his bed and sighed.
"I-I just worry about her," he said while scratching his neck.
"And you should worry. Worrying isn't such a crime, it's part of being a person and caring about someone." I said as I held his hand.
"You are a normal human being, and you can feel these feelings, but that doesn't mean you can't show them too." He looked over at me and smiled.
"Have I ever told you how sweet you are?" He asked. I let out a small laugh.
"And have I ever told you how much of a dumbass you are?" I asked. he just laughed and fell back in his bed.
"Well I'm gonna head back out there, maybe hang out with Carl. You can join if you want but it isnt my decision." I said. he smile and got up.
"Lets go then." He said. I grabbed his hand and we both ran down the stairs and ran outside, laughing to our hearts content.

Me and Ron sat in the grass not saying anything, just looking at each other. He began to swallow and decided to break the silence.
"Why do you like Carl?" He asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"What do you see in Carl that makes you have the goo goo eyes for him."
"Okay first off all dont say it like that, its kinda gross when you say it like that. And second of all, I dont really like him like that, were just friends. Sure hes cute, and funny, and sometimes really sweet, but i need to know him better than to just jump to conclusions." I said.
"But what about his father?" He asked.
"I have nothing against him, In fact, I like him a lot. Hes got this personality that just somehow clicks with mine." I said.
"Even thought, he is a killer?" He asked.
"I'm a killer too and your talking to me and you're also friends with me." I said.
"Yeah but i didnt know who you killed, He knew Pete as my father and he killed him." He said.
"Ron, you need to let this go, hes gona and hes not coming back. He mentally and physically abused you, Jessie, Sam, Enid, and me. I know you love him, but you have to let go." I said.
"Wow, you're delusional." He said as he got up.
"Oh im delusional? You cant let go of someone who is gone! Don't get upset with me over one thing Ron! Its stupid!" I yelled. He kept walking away and i just huffed. I saw Rosita out, and she witnessed i think everything.
"You wanna talk about it?" She yelled.
"Yeah." I said as i walked over to her. She wrapped her arm around me and brought me inside her home. I sat down at the table and she handed me some coffee.
"Do you like coffee?" She asked.
"Never tried it." I answered.
"Well, i guess this is your first impression of coffee i guess." She said. i swallowed and took a sip of it. The bitterness hit my mouth as my face cringed in disgust.
"You dont like it, do you?" Rosita said. I shook my head as I swallowed the gross substance.
"its alright, not all kids like coffee when the first try it, its something to get used to, and something that needs to have sugar." She said with a laugh.
"Yeah, it seems like you need to get used to most things now." I said.
"Yeah, i guess that's what's keeping us alive, to get used to the things this world is giving us." She said with a smirk.
