I WIPED THE BLOOD AND GUTS ONTO MY BED SHEET. The smell was pungent and disgusting. I sighed and continued to pile on the guts and other unrecognizable things that were in the walker's body.
"Mom?" I heard Sam say. My heart stopped as I turned around. Jessie went towards him and held him. I sighed and up the last bit of guts on me and I was ready.
"I guess this is the new fashion," I said. I heard a laugh from Carl and I smiled. Ron was in the corner, tears streaming down his face. I walked over to him and made eye contact with him.
"Ron," I said. He didn't say anything, only his eyes were telling me something.
"Everything is going to be okay, I know that you feel scared, and you feel like you're gonna die, but you aren't. We are going to make it out of here. I've said this a lot but I mean it." I said.
"Why do you still care about me, after everything I have done today?" He asked.
"Because I love you, and I don't know what I would do without you. That's why I still care about you." He looked away from me.
"Hey, look at me. We will be able to start over once we get through this." I said. He smiled and hugged me. I hugged him tight and close. We let go and we knew that it was time to leave.

The sound of walkers filled my ears as we walked the streets. I was scared out of my mind and didn't want to slow down. I held Carl's hand tight as well as Jessie's hand. It was dark out but the moon illuminated the ground to be seeable. One of them knocked into me but I didn't flinch. I just pretended to be one of them, as Jessie said. It's all just pretend. I felt Jessie let go of my hand. I grabbed it again but she was focused on Sam.
"Sam. Sam cmon honey." She said as she held tight to him.
"Sam," Rick said. Everyone began to chime in as they tried to keep him from not getting himself killed. I pled for him to keep on moving, to be brave. He kept on shaking his head.
"I want to go." He said. Walkers came close and they got him. They began to rip him to shreds as Jessie stood there in despair. I didn't know what to think, my mind had wandered off to a place called Neverland.
"Jessie, cmon we have to go..." I whispered. I said. I looked over at Ron and he was in hysterics, not wanting to believe that Sam was gone. I kept on telling Jessie to keep on moving, Carl tried to help too. I held her tight but she wouldn't budge. She screamed in sadness as she saw her son, now nothing but eaten flesh and blood. I pulled her my way, but the walkers got to her. My heart broke. She was the mother I wished I had. She was sweet, kind, adventurous, and overall, one of the few people I care about the most. Her grip was tight on me as I slowly began to break.
