Chapter 88- Saiyan Pride and Fusion

 "Go now!" Sibella screamed at Goku.

With his instant transmission Goku vanished from sight.

"Oh no you don't!" Buu screamed.

He then charged at Sibella.

"Where is he?!" Buu demanded.
"Looking for a partner to fuse with, and I think he may have found him" she smirked.

Powering up to her Super Saiyan 2 form she charged back at Buu and they began to fight each other.

"Ah yes, I can feel another power level, well my dear, let's see who it is!" he screamed.

He then viciously began bombarding Sibella with attack upon attack so much so that it was forcing her to move the battle towards where Goku and this new power was.

"No I need to keep him busy so they have time to do the fusion" she thought to herself.

Trying her best she was pushing herself to the limit to keep Buu back, but it was failing. The only saving grace was that Dende and Mr Satan were away from the danger.

In little time he had forced Sibella to Goku's location and with him...was Vegeta.

"I knew it was him"

Suddenly Buu kicked her right towards Goku and Vegeta at a rapid speed.

Seeing her hurling towards them Vegeta flew forward and caught her by the shoulders.

"Sibella"
"Why haven't you both fused yet?" she asked.
"I will never fuse with that clown" Vegeta scoffed.

Sibella pushed herself away and looked at Goku.

"Why not, Vegeta he's much stronger than when you last fought him, this fusion may very well be the best if not only solution we have" she pleaded.
"I don't expect you to understand- no you Kakarott, Sibella I would hope more from you! I sent myself to a cold oblivion and I did it on a lie! The Saiyan Prince will not fall again!" Vegeta screamed.

Sibella's eyes softened, it was the one thing she admired about him, like his father that same arrogant pride remained, he was a true proud Saiyan, she could not blame nor fault him for his feelings, but despite all that, it may come with quite the price.

Seeing Vegeta in danger, Goku charged over and saved him, but Vegeta exclaimed that he did not want his help at all.

All while Buu was laughing with great amusement at their feeble attempts.

"You have to let it go" Goku preached.

He then held the earring towards him.

"Shut up!" Vegeta screamed back.
"Come on Vegeta, you've got to help me just this once!" Goku pleaded.
"You've got some nerve asking me to help you! You still think I don't know what you did to me!?" Vegeta spat.

Goku gasped, sensing that he knew where this was going.
Sibella however was slightly confused.

"I know all about your 'secret technique' your Super Saiyan 3. You hid it from me during our battle. You allowed me to believe I could beat you!" Vegeta screamed.

Goku's expression immediately turned to guilt, he lowered his shoulders and sighed.

"Well yeah, that's part true, I do have the ability to become Super Saiyan 3- but only for a little while" Goku tried to defend.
"Just stay away from me!" Vegeta screamed.
"I hope you're done fighting each other, because I'm getting bored here!" Buu mocked and flew over at rapid speed.

Sibella was able to get in the way and block his initial attack, the 3 Saiyans were trying their best to fight Buu but they were clearly overpowered.

At one point Buu held a large Ki blast at Vegeta, with great speed Sibella got in the way and Buu's attack hit her, and he followed up with a harsh punch to the gut that sent her flying.
Seeing this Goku and Vegeta were caught off guard long enough for Buu to punch them into the same direction as her.

All 3 Saiyans went plummeting to the ground and were covered in rubble as they pulled themselves to their feet, all but Sibella who was quite injured and fell to her knees gasping.

"Sibella" Vegeta gasped and stood by her side.
"Vegeta- you need to listen, we cannot win like this!" Sibella gasped.
"Soon we'll be history along with this planet" Goku added.
"Why do I care?" Vegeta scoffed.

Sibella staggered to her feet and stood before Vegeta, she had a stern and strong expression, it was almost...angry. Out of nowhere she punched him in the face.

"What the hell?!" Vegeta gasped.
"Listen Vegeta, everyone is dead, I don't even know how long my family will live. All those we knew are gone, Buu absorbed them all, and that means Bulma too- yours and Kakarott's son's were taken by Buu, 2 strong little Saiyans- who were just children lost their lives to this monster. You know what that fear is like, you felt it as a child when you were forced to work under Frieza, imagine how scared your son was? He wanted nothing more than to have his father back. This fusion may be the only chance we have to saving the world and getting them back" Sibella explained.

Vegeta was immediately taken back when she spoke of Bulma and Trunks, that moment told her that he did care, he truly did.

"The least we could do was put our old differences aside just this once and really work together- we owe that to our teammates, our families Vegeta- our friends! You've always talked about our Saiyan Race, how we're the last of our mighty people, we it's time we accept we're starting a new race- one just as strong and full of pride- we lost our old race- let's not lose this one too!" Goku berated.

"Kakarott, how do you know this fusion will be enough to stop him?" Vegeta asked.
"I don't know for sure, but it's our best chance-"
"Look out!" Sibella screamed as Buu had found them, and was flying towards them with another attack in hand.

Fearful that Buu would disrupt Vegeta from his thoughts- Sibella powered up to Super Saiyan 3.

"Fuse!" she screamed and charged at Buu, doing her best to try and hold him off.
"Quick give it to me now!" Vegeta demanded.
"You bet!" Goku beamed and threw it to him.

Vegeta then began scrambling to put it on all while Goku explained that the fusion would be permanent.

"As soon as I kill you your friends are next!" Buu mocked.
"That's what you think!" Sibella screamed.

She then increased her power to a point that she was able to form a large enough blast to take out Buu's entire lower half.
Sadly it was not enough to defeat him, but it did slow him down.
In rage at her constant interfering Buu punched Sibella in the chest and then kicked her harshly away followed by a volley of several energy blasts.

Thankfully Sibella bought enough time so that Goku and Vegeta were able to fuse.

The fusions was indeed very impressive, a very clear split between the Saiyans, and quite handsome to say the least.
Seeing Sibella was in danger the new warrior flew over in time to catch her.

"Sibella, are you alright?" he asked.
"Vegeta, Kakarott, you fused, thank goodness" she winced.
"Thanks for buying me some time" he smirked.
"You owe me" she smiled back weakly.

He then set her down on the side.

"When you can get out of here, leave Buu to me, he won't stand a chance now" he smirked.
"You need to kill him" she sternly said.
"Oh I will" he replied.

He then stood up and flew into the air to meet with Buu, who was quite surprised at the new warrior that stood before him.
