Chapter 42- Goodbye #17

Sibella was trying her best to take on Cell, but she was nowhere near as strong as him.

"I'm sorry my dear but the fun is over"

With intense power he kicked her in the gut sending her flying against a rock formation, she penetrated it with immense force and fell onto the ground gasping in pain.

"I have more important matters to tend to, and don't worry, I won't just absorb them. I'll make you watch" he said and walked towards #17.
"You want me then come get it!" #17 yelled and the two began fighting.

#17 was doing his best, but it wasn't enough, Cell hammered him into the ground and stood over him like an animal ready to be put out of its misery.
Sibella gasped in pain as she looked on at what was happening.

"N...no" she gasped.

Then in the corner of her eyes she could see #16 walking towards Cell and #17.

"W...what is he doing?" she uttered and tried to struggle to sit up.

She looked towards Cell and saw he held #17 up by he shirt, as he held him up ready to absorb, his tail expanded above #17#s head and began lowering itself down onto him.
#17 tried to resist and stop it from coming down.

"No!" Sibella yelled.

In that moment, #16 appeared and punched Cell away, separating him from #17.
#17 looked up in great surprise at how #16 was able to do that, in fact, Sibella too was in shock.

"A...amazing" she whispered.
"I am going to destroy him" #16 said.
"How?" #17 asked.
"According to my calculations, I am just as strong as cell" #16 responded.
"S...seriously?" Sibella gasped.

#16 then went at Cell and they were ramming each other with hand to hand combat, and #16 was really holding his own, he was keeping up with Cell.
It got to a point where Cell managed to pierce #16 and tired to absorb him through the neck.
But for some reason...it failed, his structure was not normal, so Cell's attempt didn't work.

#16 was very impressive, he actually managed to get Cell on the ground and stomped on his tail so hard he managed to pull it clean off.

"Oh my god" Sibella gasped.

Cell was writhing in pain from the mutilation, it was impressive...until he got back up and managed to re-grow his tail back.

"Oh crap" she realised.

Because of Piccolo's regeneration ability he was able to recover.
Sibella glanced to her right and saw Tien standing there, she waved over, and he swiftly came to her side.

"Sibella, are you alright?" he asked.
"Obviously not, I failed to stop him, #16 is doing well but I don't know how much longer this can go on for"
"What should we do?" he asked her.
"I...I really don't know" she sighed as he helped her to her feet.

#16 stood before Cell once more as #18 and #17 stood watching.
But #16 was sure that he would be able to find Cell's weakness, and with that in mind, they went at it once more, but this time, #16 took quite a punch to his face, knocking him out.
Cell then charged at #16 in hopes of finishing him off, but in a last moment the launches his arm at cell to punch him away.
Followed by punches and kicks that caused Cell to fall flat on his front, he then picked him up and threw him into the earth, finishing by taking off his forearms and firing into the hole. Which exploded into a giant crater that knocked everyone off balance and shook the earth and shattered the mountains around them.

"Bloody hell!" Sibella gasped.

Eventually things calmed down.
#16 put his arms back on then turned his attention to #17.

"Why are you still here, I told you to leave this place" #16 warned.
"Hey you squashed the bug, what is there to be afraid of now?" '18 asked.
"That attack wasn't enough to finish Cell, it's imperative you run from this place immediately- you too #17- don't give Cell the chance to absorb you!" #16 ordered.

#17 however stood there praising #16, that with him nothing would stand in their way of dominating the Earth.

Sibella shook her head in shame, they could have learned from this, but it appeared not

Suddenly everyone gasped as Cell appeared from behind #17 and wrapped his tail around him, #16 attempted to rush to the rescue but failed as cell sucked ##17 up his tail, finally absorbing him.

"Oh dear God no" she gasped.

With great projectory Cell began yelling and writing as his body began glowing and growing, it appeared he was going through some form of transformation...as if he couldn't get more hideous what could happen now?
