Chapter 79- Majin Vegeta

As the match got underway the group were watching intently at the events that were unravelling.
Suddenly everything around them changed once more, they abruptly found themselves again on the ship.

"Huh?" Sibella expressed, confused.
"I wonder why we're here again" the Kai added.
"I guess they wanted us back in the ship for some reason" Goku responded.
"But...why?" the Kai additionally asked.

Dabora then landed on the floor and began making his way to the door.

"Hey where do you think you're going, are you giving up or what?!" Gohan demanded.

Dabora lightly chuckled, but maintained his direction.

"Oh no, it's just a brief intermission, we just need a few minutes to re work our strategy, it seems we've found a new recruit, the perfect warrior capable of handling all of you, so just take a little rest while we bring him up to speed" he slyly responded, then evilly laughed as he went through the door and it closed behind him.

"HEY COME BACK!" Gohan demanded.
"This is weird" Sibella said, uneasily.
"This is strange, Dabora is Babbidi's' strongest fighter, it makes no sense as to why he would withdraw him from the fight; they don't have anyone after him, he is their best" the Kai explained.
"He mentioned a new recruit, do you think he was bluffing?" Goku pondered.
"I'm not sure, but it seems unlikely that a fighter with that Calibre would just drop into their laps at a time like this" the Kia verified.
"Yeah they're definitely up to something...but what?" Gohan added.
"Well I don't plan on sitting here waiting, I say we find out, I'm beginning to lose patients as is" Sibella groaned.

Vegeta then went into a rage.

"Ah this whole thing would be over right now if it weren't for you! I hope you're proud of yourself!" he scolded Gohan.

He marched right up to the young warrior and stared him in the eyes.

"W...what do you mean?" Gohan stuttered.
"I mean you disgraced us with your pitiful performance, there is no excuse for you fighting the way you did! You have Saiyan Blood running through your veins, a warrior like Dabora should be dead!"

With that he shoved Gohan slightly back then folded his arms disapprovingly.

"And now here you are scratching your head wondering what's going to happen next, when they should already be finished! You are pitiful! Fighting with the self-righteous look on your face! Its brute strength that determines the outcome of a battle, the strong will survive and the weak shall perish! Your Piccolo and Krillin were turned to stone, that's because they are weaklings! Is that the kind of fate you want for yourself?! Garden statues! If they're lucky someone will make a birdbath out of them! "Vegeta exclaimed with rage.
Fact of the matter was, there was a fair bit of truth to his words, the strong are meant to survive it's a way of life.

"Hey look, Gohan didn't know that Dabora was going to run off, I'm sure if he did he would have asked one of us to fight him if he knew" Goku tried to defend his son.
"Kakarott, honestly that's not a good excuse at all, I'm sorry kid, but a more experienced fighter should have taken this" Sibella shamefully replied.
"You're as soft as he is Kakarott! I'm tired of playing around I'm going to end this thing once and for all!" Vegeta screamed.

He then positioned his hand, palm facing the floor with a large Ki blast in the place.

"Vegeta what are you doing?!" Goku panicked
"No more weak hearted excuses Kakarott! I'm taking control of this operation now! And for a start I'm going to blow this place to kingdom come!" Vegeta screamed back.
"Sibella do something!" Gohan replied.
"Nothing I can do, I'm kinda with Vegeta on this one, come what may, we have been wasting time here" Sibella yawned and calmly watched on.
"If you blow up the ship now you'll most likely revive Buu!" the Kai pleaded.
"Shut up" Vegeta responded sternly.

He then aimed his attack at the Kai.

"What happens to this planet is none of my concern, the strong shall live and the weak shall perish!" Vegeta screamed.
"W...what kind of person are you?!" the Kai stuttered.

In that moment, Sibella had a sense of realisation- despite her lack of patients, a single thought had entered her mind.
With that she put herself between Vegeta and the Kai.

"Hold on right there Vegeta, as a Saiyan you make a somewhat valid point, but consider this, there are people who don't deserve to die, people who actually want to live, surely you wouldn't want Bulma or Trunks to die" she stated, then slapped his hand away.
"How dare you!" he yelled at her.
"Come on you two, that's enough, let just move forward with this" Goku intervened.
"Fine, whatever you say Kakarott" Vegeta sarcastically remarked.
"Regardless, who even is this person they are talking about?" Sibella stated.
"Oh no- don't tell me!" the Kai panicked.
"Huh, what's your problem?" Sibella asked.

She then noticed how the Kai was looking upon Vegeta in complete mortification.

"Wait..." she trailed off, just then...she clicked onto what he was thinking- but before anyone could try to do anything...Vegeta began screaming in anguish as he gripped onto his head.

"Vegeta what's wrong?!" Goku asked.
"S...somethings attacking me!" Vegeta screamed.
"Where?!" Goku exclaimed looking around.
"Inside!" Vegeta said.
"Resist!" the Kai advised.
"I cannot!" Vegeta screamed again.

In a fit of continuous screaming, and straining and struggling he transformed into his Super Saiyan form.

"Don't let Babidi take you Vegeta- don't think of the past, you have to fight it, you're not that way anymore, you're innocent!" the Kai tried to encourage.
"H...how can you say that, I...I'm not innocent!" Vegeta rebuffed, still grabbing onto his head once more, the struggle was all too clear to see, it was painful to watch and hear such a tear between the humanity of one being.

Vegeta now had fallen to his knees still trying to resist what was happening.
But it would appear this was failing, suddenly red spraks of lightning emerged and Vegeta was lifted into the air his energy mounting, raging and shaking the environment around them.

"Don't let them use you!" Gohan begged.

In his attempt a spark of the lightning blasted him away.
Just then, the entire ground below them began shaking, everything was splitting open, vibrating with such force and disruption.

"Bloody hell!" Sibella screamed as she fell onto her knees.
"What a monstrous power- it's terrible!" Goku gasped.

Suddenly all the disruption ceased and Vegeta fell back to the ground onto his knees once more.
Goku, worried, tried to approach Vegeta, but was stopped by the Kai.

"I...it's too late" the Kai stuttered.

Vegeta burst into a evil laughter and slowly stood up from the ground.

"Dear God" Sibella gasped.

As did they all as they looked upon Vegeta, on his forehead was the same M insignia that Dabora and all the other warriors had on theirs.

"Vegeta..." she whispered.
"He's the new recruit Dabora was talking about" the Kai clarified.
"So Vegeta is against us now?!"Goku questioned.
"That's right- oh my!" he gasped.

Suddenly the room went black and when the lights came on again, they all found themselves back in the ring of the WMAT.

"What the hell, why are we back here again?" Sibella asked.

Everyone was perplexed by what was happening, how they appeared and that they all suddenly appeared at the end of the tournament.
Vegeta then screamed and unleashed a wave of energy that knocked several of the humans away, including sending Mr Satan into a wall.

"My goal is to fight Kakarott- no one else matters!" Vegeta stated.

Vegeta then with a stern expression on his face, turned to Goku and aimed his palm.

"Vegeta not!" Goku begged.

Vegeta paid no mind and launched a continuous wave attack at Goku, pushing him back further and further, and it was clear it was a struggle.
Growing impatient, he increased his power and pushed Goku right out the way...causing the blast to go through the stadium, killing many of the spectators, which also blasted through the building and into the city to the countryside.

Sibella's expression was in disbelief, she looked at the stands and saw sadness in Bulma's eyes, and she then fainted.
In the meantime all the other humans were scrambling to get out of the stadium as swiftly as possible.

"Oh, poor Bulma" she whispered.

Goku returned to the ground and stood before Vegeta with the same stern expression.

"Shame on you" Goku uttered.

The tension between the fighters could be felt all over, it was so thick and unnerving.
Vegeta had no remorse, his eyes were dark, endless, nothing fazed him, like an animal that had locked onto his target, he only appeared to be interested in Kakarott.

Thankfully by now everyone had gotten out of the stadium.

"My babies!" Sibella gasped and backed up.
"Going somewhere Sibella?!" Vegeta demanded.
"Yes, unlike you, I care about my daughters- I need to make sure they are alright" she replied.

Vegeta simply scoffed.

"Fine, whatever, leave, but know this, when I'm done with Kakarott, I'm coming after you" he threatened.
"Well I look forward to it, you don't scare me, never have never will" she replied and took to the sky.

She then noticed, Yamcha, Roshi, Bulma and Chichi up on the upper part of the stands, she flew down to meet them and began looking around.

"Where are my daughters?" she sternly asked.
"I...I'm sorry Sibella we haven't seen them, but I imagine they are with the boys" Chichi responded.
"Ok...then where are they?" Sibella repeated.
"We don't know, but they are most likely way out of harms way" Bulma replied.

Sibella screamed and punched the wall behind them.

"Your mate has lost his mind, the kids are running amok and you aren't worried?!" Sibella exclaimed and grabbed Chichi and Bulma by their shirts.
"Sibella calm down, its normal to feel like this, but our kids are stronger than that, please don't worry!" Chichi begged.

Sibella eyes softened as she let them go.

"I'm sorry" she apologised, then turned her attention to the ring.
"You're a mother, it's normal, but those kids aren't normal, they can handle themselves" Bulma added.

Sibella nodded in understanding, but remained silent.

"Shall we commence?" Vegeta asked.
"This isn't the time and place Vegeta"
"You will fight me Kakarott, unless you want more bodies to pile up on your conscious" Vegeta threatened.

Sibella gasped at the response, he appeared determined to have this fight at any cost.

"I didn't think you were this weak to be controlled" Goku replied.

Vegeta wasn't deterred by his words at all, instead he raised his right arm and blasted an attack at the stands, killing more people, ensuing even more panic and mayhem.
Vegeta maintained such an evil expression on his face, and all with a smile.
Unable to bare anymore, Goku too powered up to his Super Saiyan form.

"No you mustn't every injury Vegeta causes will be sent back to the ship, and that will be used to revive Buu!" the Kai explained, trying to stop the fight.
"Tell me Vegeta, with that stamp on your head I know Babbidi is controlling you, are you fighting me because of him, or is this the same old story between you and me?!" Goku demanded.
"You know as well as I do Kakarott what this is!" Vegeta responded.
"What is wrong with you, don't you know the fate of the universe is more important than your meaningless squabble?!" the Kai interjected.

Suddenly Vegeta burst into another fit of rage, his energy pouring out of him and shaking the foundations around them once more.

"What do you know of meaningless- spend your life ruled by another, watch your race dwindled to a handful- and then tell me what has more meaning then your own strength?! I have in me the blood of a Saiyan Prince, yet I've seen this joke surpass me at every stage- even a woman of my own race is proving more powerful!" Vegeta screamed and pointed at Sibella in the stands.

"Huh, sexist much" Sibella scoffed.

"He's even saved my life as if I were a helpless child, he has stolen my honour, and his debts must be paid!" Vegeta screamed.
"Babbidi- transport us to a place away from people, if you give me that, then I will fight Vegeta!" Goku called out.

The Kai then stepped between the fighters, determined not to allow this fight to happen, fearful of the consequences of the fight.

"Oh what a moron" Sibella sighed.

Concerned she flew back to the ring and stood beside Gohan.

"Sibella, there you are"
"Don't do this Supreme Kai" Goku asked.
"I'm afraid I have no choice"
"Then neither do I" Goku replied.

He then aimed his palm at the Supreme Kai and began powering up, much to everyone's shock.

"D...dad you can't" Gohan stuttered.

Sibella remained still and continued to watch.
The Kai then sighed and stood down, and walked away.

"Fine, do what you want, I can't stop you"

Goku lowered his attack.

"I'm sorry Supreme Kai" Goku apologised.
"As am I" the Kai responded.

Suddenly in an instant everyone vanished from the ring and found themselves in the wastelands on the outskirts of town.

"I trust you have no more excuses" Vegeta stated.
"No" Gohan responded.

The Kai then made his way to the hole in the middle of the floor, which was the same as what was in the ship.

"It's fine, we shall continue with a different strategy, while you two fight up there Gohan, Sibella and I will break open the ships entrance and continue our assault against Babbidi and Dabora. I believe we still have a chance in stopping them before Buu's revival. If tampering with the ship's entrance ruptures Buu's shell, it will still be better than allowing him to reach full power from the energy lost my Goku" the Kai explained.
"Good luck, I'm not going, I'm going to stay here, just in case, you two should be fine to handle Babbidi and Dabora" Sibella responded.

Respecting her wishes, the Kai and Gohan proceeded with their plan.
Despite Vegeta raging once more and defying Babbidi who was ordering him to kill the Kai, but Vegeta refused, he did not carry out such an order, indeed his one and only goal was to deal with Goku, and that's all that he wanted.

Just then the floor of the hole opened up, and he and the Kai entered.

"Sibella, you keep out of it until I'm ready to deal with you!" Vegeta ordered.
"You're not the boss of me, I'm going to keep out of it out of respect for fighting" she responded and flew right into the air to observe the fight.

Sibella gazed down at the warriors fearful.

"This is going to be one hell of a fight" Sibella sighed.
