It was now after lunch time, the kids had some food and played some games.
But Lazuli, being rather impatient was all too keen to get back to training, but Raaz and Goten were content on playing tag.
As his guests Trunks knew it was best to entertain them to the best of his ability, so he humoured the girl, and the two of them continued training in the garden together.
For a while they were practicing hand to hand combat.
"You're really good at this!" Trunks called out.
"I know, my mom and dad showed me how, I've been training for years" Lazuli responded.
"I only mainly train with Goten, just cause of the tournament I get to practice with my dad, a little" Trunks added.
"I can't wait for the tournament!" Lazuli smiled.
"Me either it should be a lot of fun, I hope I win" Trunks cheekily said.
"Well, if you have to fight me that may not be that easy" Lazuli winked.
"Well no offence but until you can go Super Saiyan, you don't have much of a chance"
Now it may have been the case that Lazuli was short tempered but regardless, she wouldn't quite be able to control what had happened next.
From that rather thoughtless comment, it sparked a rage in her.
"Oh really- why, cause I'm a girl?!" she raised her voice, and her attacked were becoming a lot faster, causing Trunks to have to really concentrate and keep up so as to not get hurt.
"Well maybe- I don't know- I've never heard of a girl Super Saiyan" Trunks responded.
"Oh yeah- well my mom is, and one day I'll be just as strong as her!" Lazuli screamed and launched such a powerful punch right in Trunks' gut that he went flying back into the house and through the living room.
Lazuli was a little too angry to have noticed the damage she had caused, and instead she screamed to power up and followed after him, again oblivious to the damage around her.
She then reached the living room and saw Trunks sat up on the floor rubbing his head.
"Ow, mom's right, I should think before I talk" Trunks groaned.
He then looked up with wide, nervous eyes to see Lazuli standing over him.
"Super Saiyan or not, I can beat you and anyone else" Lazuli sternly expressed.
Trunks began pointing and stuttering nervously at Lazuli.
"What, got the words knocked out of you, come on, let's go again" she encouraged.
"But...Lazuli, you- you're...you're a Super Saiyan" he blurted out.
"What, are you saying that so you don't have to put up with me beating you anymore?" Lazuli smirked.
"No you idiot- look" he yelled.
Trunks then leapt up and grabbed Lazuli by the shoulders and turned her to a mirror in the living room.
"See?!" he exclaimed.
Lazuli looked upon her reflection and gasped, no other breath escaped her lips as her eyes widened in shock at her reflection.
It was true, it happened, she did it, she was a Super Saiyan.
Her hair was standing on ends, all a brilliant gold blonde, and her eyes were a stunning green.
"I did it?" she said as she touched her fingers over her face and hair.
"Yeah!" Trunks cheered.
"But how?"
"Kids?!" called a voice.
Scared of the trouble they would get into Lazuli- without realising powered down.
Then in came Bulma with Vegeta behind her.
"Oh my God, what happened here?!" she screamed.
"Sorry mom, we got carried away with training" Trunks responded.
"Sorry Aunty Bulma" Lazuli apologised.
Bulma was shocked and little angry, but calmed down rather quickly.
"Oh it's alright, you're not hurt are you?" she asked.
"No" they said in unison.
"Well I certainly wouldn't expect anything less from a couple of Saiyan children, if anything I expected more damage" Vegeta expressed.
"Yeah well, I'm glad there isn't more else we'd have nowhere to live or sleep for a several months- but that's not that point, house is standing and no one is hurt, maybe you kids should try and be more careful" Bulma suggested.
Just then Goten and Raaz came walking in from the giant whole in the house outside through to the broken living room.
"Wow, this is a mess" Goten noted.
"Yeah, wonder why" Raaz agreed.
The pair reached the living room and saw Trunks and Lazuli before Vegeta and Bulma.
"I think they did it" Goten whispered.
"I think so too" Raaz responded.
"Well, don't worry about it kids, I'll get someone to come in and fix this up, should be better ina couple weeks, but gives me an excuse to redecorate" Bulma smiled.
With that the kids were shooed back into the garden.
"So what happened, how come you guys did that?" Goten asked.
"Well what happened was Lazuli went- "
"Mad, at Trunks saying I wasn't strong enough, so I punched him so hard he went flying into the house" Lazuli cut him off.
"Huh?" Trunks said in confusion, despite that actually being true mind you.
"Wow, that's great sis- well sorry Trunks, but Super Saiyan or not, my sister is super strong, and one day we'll beat you and Goten, fair and square" Raaz boasted.
She then hugged her sister, who lightly hugged her back.
"Well come on Raaz, you're it!" Goten playfully said and took to the sky.
"I'll get you!" she called out and chased after him.
Trunks then turned to Lazuli confused.
"Why didn't you tell her?" he asked.
"She's my sister, we're twins, we always to everything together, and, well me going Super Saiyan on my own, it doesn't quite feel right- I don't even know how it happened" she responded and sat on the floor with her legs crossed.
"Well, she's your sister, wouldn't she be happy for you?" Trunks asked.
"Well yeah, but she's be more upset than anything, cause we didn't do it together, we're a team, it's always been that way"Trunks was still confused but more or less understood where Lazuli was coming from.
"I guess so, but when are you going to tell her?" he questioned.
"I don't know, I need to think about it- hey that means you can't say a word to anyone alright!" Lazuli exclaimed.
"Why not?" Trunked replied.
"If my sister finds out it will hurt her feelings, so if you say anything next time I'll kick you across the city into the mountains!" she threatened.
"Alright, alright, I won't say anything, I swear" he promised.
"Good, now, help me figure out how I did it, cause I have no idea how to do it again" Lazuli said and jumped to her feet.Trunks sighed and stood before her.
"Well it happened I think when you got mad, I imagine you were pretty mad at me, which may have caused it to happen?" Trunks suggested.
"Well I did feel a big release of energy from it- maybe anger is one way to become a Saiyan, maybe there are lots of ways" Lazuli contemplated.
"Yeah maybe, for me I guess it just happened when I was training with Goten, we always have fun, we were really relaxed and enjoying ourselves" Trunks added. It was a very interesting concept the kids had uncovered by themselves, that it would seem the transformation varied from Saiyan to Saiyan. Which meant Raaz, may not transform the same way as Lazuli.
It was then she decided she would find out what would be the best course of action, and she would help her sister reach that stage, then and only then she would tell her that she too was now a Super Saiyan.
"So how do I bring it out again?" Lazuli asked.
"Well if anger brought it out before, just use that again. But maybe not now, if you don't want Lazuli to find out, since she's just up there" Trunks suggested.
"Yeah, you're right, guess I'll have to find time and try on my own, which wont be easy- oh well I'll deal with it" Lazuli smiled.
Trunks smiled back and the pair sat under a tree talking.
"Thanks Trunks" she happily said.
"Oh I didn't do anything, I didn't mean to make you so mad anyway" he responded.
"Well I'm glad you did, it's helped me"
"Yeah, well next time I wont make you so mad when you need help, I might not have a house next time" he added.
The little kids laughed together and continued talking about fighting and family.
That was until Goten and Raaz came back to join them.
"Mom's on her way here, I can feel her power level" Raaz said.
"Oh cool, guess we're going home now" Lazuli said.
No sooner had they stood up did Sibella land in the garden.
"Hey girls" she waved.
The twins ran over and flew up to hug their mother.
"I missed you both today, how was your play date?" Sibella asked.
"It was great mom" Raaz smiled.
"Oh my..."Sibella trailed off.
She then turned her attention to the massive damage caused in the side of the house.
"Kids, tell me you didn't do that..." Sibella nervously asked.
"No" Goten responded.
Sibella sighed in relief.
"It was Trunks and Lazuli" he added.
"What?!" Sibella exclaimed.
Just then Bulma came out from the CC building's back entrance.
"Oh hey Sibella, how are you?" she asked.
Sibella set the girls down and went towards Bulma.
"I'm fine- but Bulma, I'm so sorry for all this, I'll pay for the damages" Sibella apologised.
"Oh don't be silly, Trunks had a hand in it too, don't worry. We're getting it fixed, they are Saiyan's after all, can't blame them for wanting to train and fight, it's in their nature, right?" Bulma giggled.
"Oh dear...you're right, and I don't think that is something that would ever change" Sibella laughed back. With that they all said their goodbyes, and Sibella and the girls returned to their home.
But on the way Lazuli was quiet and not as energetic as normal, understandable due to today's events.
She wanted nothing more than to tell her sister and her parents, but she didn't want her to feel left out.
But from tomorrow she vowed she would help Raaz find a way to trigger the power to become a Super Saiyan.
