Chapter 64- Peace at last

It had taken several months to get over Trunks, and Sibella had managed to fill her time with training, baking and helping Bulma with various CC projects.

Booking a day off from working, she decided that she would venture off to look at the world around her, one particular place was an isolated island.
When she was feeling low she tended to go there to relax, it was a peaceful quiet place with a lake and many animals that lived there.
Frequently she came with food for them and tended to sleep by the lake, she thought of it as her own private place, since she had never seen anyone else coming there...that was until one day when she was walking around the island and she heard a sound.

"Who's out there- come out!" she demanded.
"Calm down, you'll scare all the animals away" said a voice.

Looking behind a tree, Sibella's eyes widened in great surprise.

"It...it's you" she gasped.

Sitting there on the ground, was Android #17.

"I see you're alive" she observed.
"That I am, how've you been Sibella?" he asked her.
"Um, fine, how's the life of a human treating you?" she questioned back.
"It's alright, still taking some getting used to" he responded.

Sibella smirked and walked around the tree and stood before him.

"Where's #18?" Sibella asked.
"No idea, we meet now and then, but we've got different lives" he said and stood up.
"So what are you doing here?" he asked her.
"I come here from time to time to relax"
"Me too, but I've never seen you before, but I did wonder who's been feeding the animals around here, every time I come the bird feeders in the trees are filled up" he explained.
"Oh yeah, I make a point of doing that, I made flavour filled food for people, and these are organic for animals, and people too I suppose" Sibella responded.

#17 smiled at her and looked up at the sky.

"I didn't know things could be this, relaxing" he said to her.
"Neither did I- but if you ever need more excitement in your life, I'm up for finishing up that fight we had...pretty sure I'd have you beat" she teased.
"Oh yeah, well maybe we should have a battle- how about tomorrow on the same island we fought at" he challenged her.

Sibella chuckled and brushed back her hair.

"Why, not, peace is so boring, and I haven't been able to have a good challenge in a while" she responded and took to the sky waving as she went.

"This could be healthy" she smiled and decided to go do some shopping before returning home.

As she finished paying for her things, she went up to the roof in hopes of being able to head home without being seen.
Upon arriving there, she was shocked to see another familiar face.

"Hey #18!" she called out.

Turning around #18 was surprised to see Sibella.

"It's you" she gasped.
"Yes, it's me, how are you?" Sibella asked.
"I'm fine, what are you doing up here?" she questioned.
"Oh I'm on my way home, I live at Capsule Corp" Sibella responded.
"Cool"
"Where have you been?" Sibella asked.
"I just went on a date" she responded.
"Oh really, that's nice, I'm happy for you- you know I just saw your brother on an island not too far from here" Sibella explained.
"Yeah, I see him now and then around" #18 answered.
"Well, it was good seeing you, I have to go home now" Sibella smiled and took to the sky.

Come the next day Sibella was all too excited to meet up and have a battle with #17. Naturally being Saiyan, too much peace can be boring.
Upon arriving at the island, she was made to wait 5 minutes before #17 eventually arrive.

"Take your sweet time" Sibella sarcastically remarked.
"Whatever, you're still here so I can't be that late" he rebuffed.

Sibella then stood ready and poised.

"Let's do it" she smiled.

#17 also assumed a fighting stance and the two warriors went at it, mainly focusing on hand to hand combat.
The two had been fighting for all of the morning, and come the afternoon they eventually decided to stop.

"Well, not bad at all" Sibella panted.
"Yeah, well I've seen worse moves" #17 commented.
"Thank you for the battle, it was refreshing, I hope we can do this again" Sibella said and stood up ready to leave.
"Well why not, let's meet at least once a week to train" #17 asked her.

Sibella became amused at the idea, what harm would it be, and having a sparing partner would prove helpful to her, peaceful times or not, this was certainly a better use of her time.
So they had both agreed once a week they would meet on the same island to train together.

And for the next 2 years, that just what they did...
