Chapter 43- Holding off Cell!

The creature that stood before them was equally hideous, and bigger.

"Oh no...#18 get out of here!" Sibella screamed.

Tien helped Sibella to her feet.

"We should leave too"
"I wish I wasn't so weak, I could have held him off longer- Vegeta and Trunks should be done in the Time chamber now" she uttered.

#16 grabbed #18s hand and attempted to make a run for it, but they were stopped as Cell got in their way.

"T...Tien, if he takes her, I don't know what we'll do. Please keep #18 away from him?" Sibella begged.

#16 attempted to punch Cell but that did absolutely nothing, he didn't even flinch, instead he raised his hand and blasted #16 clear away from him, taking out part of his head.

"Oh, my goodness" Sibella gasped.
"Now it's your turn, Android #18 come here" Cell ordered.
"I'm not listening to anything you say, look at what you've done you're a monster!"
"Feisty"
"Why don't you just go back to wherever you came from?" she asked.
"You belong to me, well shall we get started, just relax you know the routine" Cell threatened and began walking towards her.
"Stay where you are, I'm warning you, one step closer and I'll detonate" she threatened and put a hand over where her heart would be.
"Extinguish yourself, you wouldn't dare?"
"Oh no, just try me, anything is better than merging with you. I'm not a creature like you are, we're completely different, how can I be a part of you?" she responded.

Suddenly Cell started speaking like #17 who claimed that she should accept and join him.

"I'm not buying it- that's not #17. He loved the person he was, life was fascinating for him, he would never want to give it up and be a part of you!" #18 screamed.

She kept her hand on her heart realising that she needed time to activate the blast, and in that time, Cell would absorb her. Suddenly Tien hovered ahead and launched a Tri- beam attack that landed right on top of Cell, forcing him into the ground and causing #18 to go flying away.

"Why are you still here, get out of here right now!" Tien screamed and launched another attack as he could see Cell trying to come out.

Fearful she ran to #16 and together they attempted to escape by flying away.
Gathering her energy Sibella flew up to Tien and decided to help keep cell down I that ditch for as long as he could.

"Scarlet cannon!" she screamed and launched an attack into the hole continually with Tien and his Tri-beam attack.
The two warriors were becoming tired as their energy was lowering and they were quivering from the loss, but they valiantly persisted.

"No, they can't escape!" Cell screamed and attempted to flyout, but Tien managed to stop him once more.
"Stop that!" Cell screamed.
"Yeah in your dreams!" Tien yelled back.
"T...Tien I...I can't..." she whispered and fell to the ground, passing out.

As she fell, she could feel Tien's power also lowering, a few moments had past and her eyes fluttered opened. When they did, she saw Cell standing over Tien, he kicked him far away as he lay there gasping for life...he was so close to death.

"N...no" she gasped then raced over and protected him.
"Don't you dare!" she screamed.
"Don't you ever stop?" Cell chuckled.
"Not until I die" she whispered.

Suddenly a flash appeared before her and standing there was Goku.

"Oh Kakarott, so nice of you to drop in- where have you been?!" she screamed.
"Sorry Sibella" Goku apologised.

Cell and Goku introduced each other.
Goku then warned Cell that in 1 day he would be strong enough to face him, and that in no time he would be able to take him out.
Goku held onto Tien and Sibella then used instant transmission to move them to the end of the island where Piccolo had washed up.

"T...thank god he's alive" she whispered.

Goku carried Piccolo on his shoulder and held onto Tien and Sibella and in seconds they had vanished.

"T...that's some trick Kakarott" Sibella uttered.

They then found themselves at Kami's lookout, a place high in the sky where the guardian of Earth would live.
There, Gohan was along with Mr Popo.
Gohan then raced away to get some Senzu beans, from the other platform below them.

"Great job Sibella, you're not even a Super Saiyan yet and you held your own" Goku flattered her.
"Oh, don't remind me" she groaned.

Gohan came back in no time and gave one each to Tien, Piccolo and Sibella, in no time they all bounced back.

"Not one of us, can take that guy down- not even you Goku, we're going to need something more" Piccolo urged.
"Come quick, Vegeta and Trunks are coming out of the hyperbolic time chamber" Mr Popo informed them.

Everyone ran to the door of the entrance and out came Trunks first, his clothes torn up, his body buffer and his hair had grown longer.
Vegeta- aside from the hair, was the same.
Sibella's eyes softened as she looked at Trunks, rather impressed.

"Wow" she whispered.
