Chapter 12

Narration

"Ford, this is not even funny." Fourth complained, not wanting to get in the car wearing the hoodie Ford told him to wear.

"It's just a coincidence. How could I possibly know what he's gonna wear? We were literally together all afternoon." Ford countered, not being able to resist the smile creeping up on his face.

"You two conspired on this together, didn't you?" Fourth accusingly looked at Mark who turned his gaze away from Fourth's threatening look.

I knew it! These two are crazy!

Fourth mentally said to himself.

"You won't get away with this Ford." Fourth threatened as he pinch Ford's cheeks so hard making the latter scream in pain.

Ford tried to break away from Fourth's hold but Fourth just pressed his fingers harder on Ford's now swollen cheeks.

"What are you doing?" The sound of Gemini's groggy voice made the three stop moving.

Gemini who just woke up from his nap, wiped his eyes as he looked at the people outside the car.

Gemini's POV

I think I'm dreaming. Why is Fourth here?

"Bro, you're finally up?" Mark asked, making his way towards the car and I confusedly stare at him and the two people outside. "We invited Fourth." He whispered to me, which made me open my eyes fully.

Shit! He's really here?! I panicked as I examined the clothes that I am wearing, regretting my choice of sleeping over at Mark's.

"Why didn't you tell me you're gonna invite him?" I whispered back at him, a little freaked out by the sudden situation.

"Surprise?" Mark stated in a sing-song way as he laughed forcefully before putting his hand on my shoulder. "You're welcome by the way." Mark patted my shoulders before going back to where Ford and Fourth is.

I was gonna ask him if Fourth knew that I was gonna be here but the asshole just walked off.

"Babe, let's go?" Mark suggested before opening the front seat's door of the car.

Ford hopped in while touching his visibly red cheeks.

"Fourth, get in or I'm gonna throw you inside!" Ford shouted at Fourth who looked hesitant at first but made his way inside the car.

Am I making him uncomfortable?

"H-hi." He greeted awkwardly, glancing at my direction for a second before looking away.

"Hey." I greeted back, still trying to convince myself that he's here with me inside the car. He smells so sweet.

Damn it, Gemini, get it together man.

I tried staring at him but he looked outside the tinted window which was a little disappointing, but he looked so adorable when he annoyingly put on the hood of the jacket he was wearing.

His hair is styled like the usual and his rosy cheeks are as irresistible as ever.

He kept on gripping the hem his hoodie which made me notice that we're wearing a similar jacket.

I confusedly looked at the rear view mirror and saw Mark looking at us, smiling proudly. The kind of smile that says: "Yeah, I did that."

So this is the reason why he wanted me to wear this jacket?

I chuckled as I shook my head at the silly trick he tried to pull.

Is this the reason why Fourth was hesitant to go inside the car earlier? Was he embarrassed that we're wearing similar clothes?
