I opened the door of my dormitory to see one of my roommates at her dresser fixing her hair.

"Oh, good. You're here." She sounded genuinely happy. "Will you help me?"

I nodded and walked over to her while Sebastian put the trunk down next to the other one.

"I can't get this knot out, blasted thing." She handed me her hairbrush.

"I'll be gentle." I smiled and began brushing it out.

"Thank you, Y/N." She returned my smile.

I really did like my roommates, it was a shame I didn't get to spend more time with them.

I forgot Sebastian was there until I looked up into the mirror and caught a glimpse of him watching us. He looked at me so...lovingly? A blush formed over his freckles as his eyes watched me carefully.

We made eye contact in the mirror and he quickly looked away before sitting down on my bed and opening the same book from earlier.

My roommate giggled at the sight and a blush rose to my face as well. After all he had done for me today, I think he might love me the way I've loved him since the day we met.

"I've got it." I said as I ran the brush through her hair one more time.

"You're an angel, Y/N." She turned around and gave me a small hug before pulling away and taking her hairbrush back. "Thank you again." She set it down on her dresser and made her way to the door.

"Sebastian." She smiled. "I hope to see you around more often." She opened the door and shut it quickly behind her.

I stood in front of her dresser for a minute before I heard Sebastian's book close.

"Y/N?"

"Sebastian?" I turned around, face still red. He was sitting at the head of my bed, book in his lap. His robe was folded next to him, his tie was slightly loosened, and his face was also still blushed. His eyes found mine and his mouth hung slightly open, as if he was contemplating what to say.

"How are you feeling right now?"

I looked away quickly as if that would hide my burning face. "I don't-" I cleared my throat. "I don't know how to answer that."

He stood and slowly closed the distance between us. "Honestly."

My heart beat so loudly in my ears that I questioned if he could hear it. "Honestly?"

He nodded.

I feel like I've fallen in love with you all over again, Sebastian. I feel like I finally know you love me. I feel like I've been asleep all this time and am just now waking up. I feel like my heart is going to explode from all of the love I've held back from you.

If I could've said it, I would've. But every time I tried my voice left me more. So I went to my books and pulled out a piece of parchment and quill.

"It's okay." He said, hand on my shoulder.

I shook my head, and grabbed his hand in my left one as I scribbled down what I desperately needed to say in the moment.

I felt his body lean into my side. "I want to hear you say it."

I stopped writing and turned my head to face him. Our noses touched and his breath hit my lips, making this all the more urgent.

My throat burned as I fought to get out even just three words. He put a hand on my cutless cheek and I looked up into his eyes.

"I-" I gulped to lubricate my throat. "I love you."

He smiled into my lips. "I love you, Y/N."

"I know." I smiled into his.
