Sebastian's POV

I yawned quietly, the smell of Lavender and Strawberries filled the air around me and I couldn't help but smile as I lifted my head off of Y/N's thighs. The color had returned to her face and she looked like she was sleeping peacefully. My heart skipped at the sigh of her, she was so beautiful.

The sound of light snoring made me chuckle softly as Ominis slept with his head resting on his hand, propped up on the arm of his chair. His mouth was slightly open, hair unruly as he stopped caring about appearance weeks ago. I think that if Y/N woke up and saw him like this she would have the sweetest, unexpecting laugh.

My cheeks hurt from smiling as I leaned over her, planting a soft, longing kiss on her forehead. "Good morning, darling." I whispered as I pulled away, sitting back in my seat.

It had been almost a month of Y/N being asleep. The same adults that put her in this position had completely lost hope in her awakening, some already giving their condolences as they tried to pry Ominis and I away from her bedside. It angered Ominis so much he threatened to get his father involved, which was shocking to all of us but all I could do was nod proudly and exclaim. "Yeah! You heard him!"

They left us alone after that, only coming by every so often to "check on her," which pissed us off more.

"You're checking on the girl you wrote off as dead?" I scoffed as Professor Weasley stood next to Y/N's bed.

"I never said that, Mr. Sallow. I simply suggested you and Ominis should get back to class. You think she'd want you two so behind on your studies?"

"You have some nerve talking about what she'd want." I yelled at Weasley. She looked at me, shocked that I would raise my voice to her.

"You shouldn't come back to see her again." Ominis spoke more calmly, though his anger was clear.

Professor Weasley hesitated before nodding, her eyes staying on the ground as she left us.

That was the last time any Professors visited her. Friends were different, we pretty much always had someone here with us. Poppy, Natty, Damon, even Imelda and Garreth would occasionally join us. Random students would come by some times to see our hero. They would give their thanks, most of them leaving in tears when they actually saw her.

She was much different looking after everything, even before the Repository she hardly looked like herself. She had lost so much weight her ribs showed, her face was hollow with purple eye bags always under her exhausted eyes. I was afraid to touch her, afraid she might break under even my softest grasp.

After a few weeks of being force fed by Nurse Blainey's potions and catching up on her sleep I was happy to see that she had begun to finally look slightly more like herself. If she opened her eyes right now I think she'd be happy about it, too.

I pulled my quill and book from the table that sat beside her bed and opened it to a blank page. I had been writing to her everyday, trying to keep myself busy.

"Y/N, my darling-
Every second I am without you my heart aches. You're all I've ever wanted, all I've ever needed. I truly cannot believe I'm lucky enough to call you mine. Without you I am nothing. Life without you is not worth living. You're so most precious to me, truly my everything. You have healed me, turned me into the man I am today. Without you I don't know who or where I'd be. Surely I'd be nothing.

Thank you for everything you've done for me. Thank you for giving me time to become the man you deserve.

I'll wait forever if I need to, sitting here next to you until you're ready to come back to me. I love you more than words could ever describe.
