We were sitting in class just doing our work. It was going well. After some time of trying to persuade my best friend Charlotte to just sit down and ignore the boys I was enjoying the peace and quiet that I rarely get to do my work.
It wasn't usually like this, like at all. Charlotte has a tendency of interrupting the class with any chance she can get. Some times its entertaining like that time we had a substitute teacher and Charlotte pretended not to be in the class. Everytime her name was called she would not answer.
And then there are times where I get embarrassed just by sitting next to her. Like the time she had a go at Mr Miller because she forgot to do her homework. It wasn't like I spent a week going on at her to get it done. In the end I just gave up letting her get on with whatever she wanted. Even though she had a go at me for not getting her work done.
The teachers say they are concerned for me as im Charlottes best friend. They don't want Charlotte's behavior to rub off on me but I not join in with what she's doing. I just sit back and watch. I do try to tell Charlotte not to be as naughty as she is. I cant be responsible for her. She is sixteen she should know better
Its the last couple of months for us at school, like ever. In the next two months we can say goodbye to this school forever. This is what I have been waiting for.
School and I just do not mix but in order for me to go to college I have to get good GCSE results. Thats really whats keeping me from going insane.
To be honest I cant wait to see the back of this school and to never walk through the front doors ever again. Mum tells me I will miss it once I leave. I don't think so. Who likes school anyway?
Everything was going great. Everyone has their eyes down focusing on their work and Charlotte hadn't interrupted once.
I felt like I had won the lottery. But just like everything this unusual silence was about to get interrupted.
The class room bully and joker Oliver Davis was leaning back on his chair. This only meant one thing he was planning something and his target Charlotte
I looked at charlotte with pleading eyes "All he wants is a reaction, just keep doing your work. You've done so well so far. Don't let him ruin it"
I knew it was no use. Charlotte had her eyes fixed on Oliver which only meant one thing she was challenging him.
"Look at him what can he do. He's trying to act so cool even though he is not. Why is he doing this and why does he have a smug look on his face"
"He wants attention" I remind her "look there is only ten minutes of this class left then we are meeting sebastian for milkshakes please don't ruin it by getting an after school detention"
