They looked at each other then looked at me. It was as if we were in primary school with a teacher trying to get us to talk
There was so much I wanted to say however the words didn't want to come out. I tried to tug at Sebastian to get him to talk for me but her just shook his head.
I took a deep breath and started to speak "All I wanted was to have a good last months of school. I didn't want to spend it all arguing over some guy or about who didn't stand up for who. Do you know how tiresome it is trying to keep us all together"
Charlotte looks down twiddling her thumbs "Im sorry"
"Yer sorry Lauren I know how upsetting it is for you," Chloe said looking at me straight in the eye
"Do you because I don't think you do?" I said angrily "Chloe you were there when Charlotte and I were not talking you know how much that upset me, then you start an argument with Charlotte over a rumor why, why couldn't you just ask Charlotte yourself what happened why get all the school involved"
"I was angry"
"So am I but I didn't go around shouting and screaming did I" I could feel myself getting hotter with every word I was saying. This is what I have been wanting to get off my chest for a long time "As my grandmother always says if you haven't got anything nice to say don't say anything at all"
We sat in silence for a while before Sebastian broke it "Do you think it can go back to the way it was before?"
"I want to try" Charlotte spoke taking a hold of my hand "Im sorry Lauren I never knew how much it was hurting you"
"You were so consumed in the argument you didn't see what was around you" I looked at both of them "ok let's forget about the whole thing and start anew how does that sound?"
