"What are you doing?" A voice came from behind him.

Zuko turned around and saw Sokka standing there.

"Feeding the turtle ducks"
"In the middle of the night?"
Zuko rolled his eyes.
"And what are you doing here then"

Sokka laughed.
"I followed you"
Zuko looked at him confused.

"I saw you sneaking out here while I was trying to find my way to the kitchen to get a drink"

He said smirking. Zuko frowned.
"You followed me?"
Sokka nodded.

"I wanted to see where you were going, to make sure you didn't run away or something, I was worried."

Zuko shook his head smiling softly.
"Don't be silly, I was only going on a walk"

Even though Zuko did try to run away earlier that day he definitely wouldn't try it again.

He'd probally die from the guilt.

Sokka looked at him with a puzzled look on his face.
"You were going on a walk at 2am?"
"I couldn't sleep"

Zuko said bluntly.
"Why not?"
"I was worried about you"
Sokka looked at the omega curiously.
"You were worried about me?"

Zuko just nodded.

"Remember when I said you could tell me anything. That offer is still available. If you want to tell me why you were worried about me feel free if you don't I won't make you"

Sokka said looking at Zuko with a concerned expression.

Zuko thought for a moment but decided not to tell Sokka about his attempt at running away and that the guilt was chewing him up inside.

"I'm sorry.." zuko said sadly.
"Its okay I understand" Sokka said with a weak smile.
"You do?"
"Yeah, now let's get you inside. It's chilly out here."

Zuko nodded and followed Sokka back into the palace. Sokka lead Zuko back to his room where they said their goodbyes.

Zuko immediately fell asleep as his head hit the pillow as he was exhausted from the eventful day and his talk with Sokka helped to clear his head.
