It was the next morning, zuko was exhausted from lack of sleep, he was anxious about his husband and afraid that he would be next.

He went downstairs to the kitchen. Talking to Hakoda was his first priority.

"Good morning Zuko, would you like some breakfast?"

Zuko shook his head, he wasn't hungry at all.

"Has Sokka came back?" He asked.

"No.. he's usually not this late.." Hakoda said sighing.
"Something has happened and I guarantee its got something to do with the person who broke in yesterday"

"You're right. I should've went looking for him last night! Goddess I'm so stupid! At noon I will lead a search party for Sokka" Hakoda said slamming his hand on the table.

Zuko waited a few moments before he spoke.
"I'll accompany you" he said.

"Zuko you know you can't do that.."

"Why not? He's my husband"

"I can't risk you getting hurt, besides you look exhausted. Go upstairs and get some rest."

"I don't need you babying me, I can take care of myself."

Hakoda sighed, he knew the omega was stubborn and that he  wouldn't win.
"Fine you can come, if you take a nap. You look like you've just rose from the dead"

Zuko was already walking upstairs to his bedroom before Hakoda could finish his sentence.

------------------------------------------------------

The whole water tribe joined together to look for Sokka. Hakoda was in charge and had divided them in teams. Zuko was with Hakoda, Katara, Aang and Toph.

They searched houses, businesses, the docks everywhere they could possibly think of. Yet no sign of Sokka could be found.

"Where could he possibly be?" Toph said with tears in her eyes. Katara sighed.

"I think I know a place." She said. Everyone looked over at her. She started walking towards the mountains that surrounded the tribe.

"There's a abandoned building at the edge of the mountains, I used to go there for some me time when my mom died. If someone did take Sokka they would've went there"

It would've been great to know sooner! Zuko thought.

Katara lead them to the house, it was a small, shed looking thing, the paint was coming off and the door was open.

"I am not going in there" Toph said.
"Oh yes you are" Katara scoffed pushing her inside.
"Danger" Zukos wolf said anxiously.

Zuko whimpered before entering there was a foul stench from inside, there wasn't a floor only the ground and the roof had holes in it.

The house was nearly completely empty and there were only three rooms, a bathroom, a bedroom/ siting room and a kitchen. None of which had Sokka.

"Maybe we should leave" Aang suggested.
"No something doesn't seem right here.." Katara said looking through all the drawers in the kitchen.

"Aha! I found a key! And.. zukos necklace??"

Everyone gathered around katara.
"He's got to be here" Zuko said. "Why else would they leave a key right beside my necklace??"

"Guys you've got to take a look at this!" Toph called from inside the bedroom.
