I Can Show You What Love Really Is

the first night as a married couple.

The pair went to their shared bedroom. But the room wasn't how they left it.

The light was like that of a firefly, there were candles everywhere, the bedsheets were changed and the room had a weird, but nice oder.

"Someone made our room extra romantic." Sokka laughed.

"Aren't you freaked out that someone broke into our bedroom and did all this?"

Sokka shook his head and kissed Zuko.
"Don't worry love, it was probally Azula. She's the only one crazy enough to do this much"

"Maybe.." Zuko said anxiously.
"Well since she's gone through all this effort we might as well make the most of it" Sokka said leaning into a kiss.

Zuko closed his eyes and melted into Sokkas arms. They both flopped onto the bed still kissing harshly.
"Mhmmmh" Zuko groaned.

He moved to take off the Alphas shirt but Zuko grabbed his hands.
"We can't.. not now love, it'll hurt you too much. Wait until your heat comes."

Zukos eyes shined like a sad puppy dog.
"I understand. I know you don't want to hurt me, for now I'm happy with just being held by you" Zuko smiled.

He rested his head on Sokkas chest and let the alpha run his fingers though his hair.

"Don't worry my love, when your heat comes I'll give you what you want."

Zuko closed his eyes and fell asleep. Thinking about the day Sokka would mark him as his own.

Zuko woke up first to the rays of the sun shining into the room.

He got out of bed, careful not to wake Sokka and went into the bathroom.
He looked at himself in the mirror.

Zuko could see a figure from the corner of his eye.

"Good morning Zuzu" Azula said popping out of the bathtub.

Zuko screamed.

"How long have you been in there?!"
"Only a few minutes."

"Don't scare me like that" Zuko pouted.
Suddenly Sokka barged in.
"Zuko!! I heard you scream are you okay?!"

"If I was a murderer Zuko would already be dead. Please work on your timing" Azula sighed.

"I'm fine, love, Azula just surprised me."

"By the way, thanks Azula for redecorating the room we really appreciate it"

"Why would I do that" Azula said before leaving the bathroom.
"By the way I'm leaving tomorrow. Feel free to visit me in the fire nation or whatever."

"Must've been one of the servants who did it then." Sokka shrugged.
"Yeah.."

Zuko couldn't fight off the nagging feeling that something bad was going to happen. But he couldn't explain his hunch.
