The feeling spread across his body like a wildfire, Zuko felt like he was going to burst with anger. In that moment he remembered everything his uncle taught him about firebending.
"No!" He yelled. The kidnapper slowly turned her head.
"What do you mean no? What are you going to do about it?" She laughed, turning back around. This only made Zuko angrier and like a balloon filled with too much air, he burst.
Zuko fell to the ground and with his feet he unleased a barrage of fireballs in the woman's direction, causing her to jump back in surprise and drop Sokka.
"You bitch! You nearly burned me" The kidnapper screeched turning to pick up Sokka again, she didn't realise that Zuko had already broken free and was back on his feet.
"Your husbands a real asshole y'know." The kidnapper said to Sokka leaning down to pick him up, only to get another fireball in the ass.
She yelped and quickly turned around and frowned at Zuko.
"That hurt you fucker! Do you think this is a game? Do you want to die?!"
The kidnapper ran at Zuko and punched him in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him. He gasped as he fell to his knees, clutching his stomach in pain.
"Did you think you could throw a few weak fireballs and get away with it? I've seen children bend better than you" She kicked him in the gut, again and again. Zuko groaned in pain, curling into a ball as she continued to kick him.
"You're pathetic" She spat.
"Maybe I am, but I'm not as pathetic as you" Zuko said struggling to get up and gasping for air.
"Do you not know when to give up?" The kidnapper asked.
"No, I'm a firebender remember?" He said. "We never know when to quit"
The kidnapper laughed.
"You are no firebender."
Zuko smirked. He came up with a plan from the moment the kidnapper dropped Sokka, it was risky but it could work and it could send a signal to his friends for backup.
"What are you smiling about?"
"You" Zuko said bluntly before setting one of the wooden walls ablaze.
"What do you think your doing? Your not seriously thinking of burning the house down, you'll kill us all you idiot!"
"Thats the plan" Zuko smiled.
"Your crazy!" The kidnapper screamed bending the earth below to protect herself.
Zuko took the moment to rush to Sokka, the fire was spreading fast. Zuko removed the ballgag from Sokkas mouth.
"We'll be keeping this for later" He smiled.
"Zuko are you mad! Setting the house on fire, your going to kill us"
Zuko rolled his eyes wasting no time and picking up Sokka and throwing him over his shoulder.
By now, Sokka was pretty used to it. Zuko rushed to the door, pulling it open. He quickly ran outside, gasping for air.
Katara came rushing forward. She gasped upon seeing Zukos face.
"I'm sorry Zuko, I guess we didn't think this plan through enough." She said.
"Its fine, we've got Sokka. The kidnappers still inside, she's a earthbender" Zuko said, gentally placing Sokka down. Zuko turned around to see the house falling down from the flames.
"I'll use my water bending to get rid of the fire, then we'll take care of the kidnapper. You and Sokka head home." She said. Zuko nodded and untied Sokka. Sokka opened his mouth to speak but no words came out.
"What? Are you hurt?" Zuko asked.
"No I just wanted to say, thank you"
