Zuko woke up the next morning to see a sleeping Sokka beside him. He felt safe waking up next to sokka again. But the kidnapper was still on the loose and as far as he knew Julie is no where to be found.
Sokka slowly started to wake up. He sat up and blinked a few times before turning to Zuko.
"What are you doing up, go back to sleep"
Zuko got out of bed.
"What about the others?"
"They're probally fine get back into bed, love."
Zuko rolled his eyes. 'Probally fine' wasn't the answer he wanted.
"I'm not tired." Zuko said.
"Well I am now get back into bed and give me a cuddle."
Zuko chuckled and got back into bed when there was a knock on the front door.Sokka scoffed.
"Who's at the door at this time"
Sokka got out of bed and and headed outside of the bedroom. He opened the door to find Toph, Aang and Katara.
"Wha-" sokka began
"We found her hiding in a basket of fish that was being exported to the earth kingdom. She's been arrested." Katara cut him off.
"I'm exhausted" Toph yawned. "Can I like sleep on the floor"
"Go ahead" Zuko said. "How did you know she'd be in a fish basket"
"We didn't." Aang answered. Zuko furrowed his eyebrows but decided not to question it any longer.
"What about Julie then?"
"We still don't know where she is, she'll probally stay here since it's dangerous to be away from your mate."
Zuko looked down with a frown on his face. He knew what it was like to be apart from your mate, but he couldn't imagine what it was like for Julie.
"I hope she's okay.." he said.
"She's Azulas maid. She's strong" Sokka said. "We should probally move Toph onto a bed"
Katara chuckled and picked up the sleeping earth bender.
"We should probally have a celebratory dinner tonight"

The next morning, sokka and Zuko woke up in their bed. Zuko snuggled into his mate's warmth and sighed.
"What time is it" Zuko asked.
"11 am" sokka replied, stroking Zukos hair.
"Ughh too early.."
"We've slept until 12 before"
"Thats too late"
Sokka chuckled and closed his eyes, enjoying the presence of his lover.
"So what do you want to do today?"
"I don't know.." Zuko groaned rolling over.
"I guess everything really has gone back to normal"
Zuko smirked and rolled over to face his mate.
"I guess it has and I'm never letting you go again"
