I Can Show You What Love Really Is

finally arriving at the southern water tribe.

A few days passed and they had finally arrived at the southern water tribe.

All of Sokkas friends left first. Greeted by cheers from the people.

Zuko was walking outside his room with his stuff alongside with Sokka.

"You ready?"

"Yeah" Zuko smiled at his mate.

"You'll love it here. Trust me"

"I know"

They stepped outside the boat and onto the harbour, hand in hand.

There was soldiers all along the edge of deck. And a huge crowd just outside.

"There's a lot of people" Zuko said anxiously.

"They're here to see you, their luna."
Zuko blushed at Sokkas words.

The pair walked to where the crowd was who were kept behind a barrier.

They were chearing and holding up signs that said 'welcome home ambassador & mate' or 'welcome back!!'

All the attention made Zuko anxious but also made him excited.

"Are you nervous" Sokka asked.

"A bit"

"Don't worry, everyone here is really nice. They already love you"

There was  carriage surrounded by people. Sokka stepped inside and held out a hand for his mate.

Many people were talking pictures of the couple as Sokka pulled up Zuko into the carriage.

They finally arrived at Sokkas house.
"Do you want to meet my dad?"

"I'd love to"

Sokka led Zuko through the house and into a large sitting room.

"Dad, this is my mate Zuko, Zuko this is my dad Hakoda" 

"Hello, hello. Please just call me Chief or dad" Sokkas dad stood up and shook hands with Zuko.

"Welcome to our humble abode!" He chuckled.

"Thank you" Zuko said awkwardly. Thinking about the resemblance between Sokka and his father.

"I'm so happy my son found a mate. After what happened with Yue I thought he'd never settle down and what I pretty boy you are too!"

Zuko smiled.

"Goddess, you two must be tired. Head on up to Sokkas room and unpack your stuff then come downstairs and we'll discuss the wedding"

"Will do dad, let's go hun"

Sokka showed Zuko where his bedroom is and Zuko flopped onto the king bed.

"I need to take a shower" Zuko said looking over at Sokka.

"Go ahead I'll start unpacking"

Zuko walked into the joint bathroom and started undressing. He turned on the water and got in.

He felt so warm and relaxed. More relaxed than he's felt in years.

After a few minutes he heard a knock on the door.

"What is it?" He called.

"Do you want a change in clothes?"

Zuko forgot to take in his pajamas to change into after his shower.

"Yes please, can you throw in my pajamas?"

Sokka opened the door slightly and threw in a change of clothes for Zuko.

"Thank you!" Zuko called. Rinsing out the suds from his hair.

"No worries."

After his shower, Zuko changed into his pajamas and stepped outside with a towel wrapped around his hair.

"You look so cute right now, do you want me to dry your hair?"

"Very Cliché. I think I'll manage to do it myself"

Sokka laughed.

"I want to anyways"
Zuko smiled and sat on the bed. Sokka kneeling next to him.

Sokka took off the towel from his head and started drying Zukos hair, humming while doing so.

Zuko relaxed and closed his eyes. Allowing Sokka to dry his hair.
"You look so beautiful right now"
