I Can Show You What Love Really Is

"Uncle!" Zuko called out.

"Zuko my boy!!" Iroh said cheerfully with a bright smile on his face. "I haven't seen you in so long, I've missed you."

"I've missed you too, uncle."
Sokka stood beside Zuko awkwardly.

"Oh! Uncle this is Sokka, Sokka this is my uncle general Iroh"

"Its nice to meet you general"

"Oh I'm no longer a general. I'm retired, I own my own tea shop. It's nice to meet you, young man. I'm sure you treat my nephew good, right?" He chuckled.

"Yes of course." Sokka answered quickly. Zuko smiled at his husband.

"Good man. It better stay that way" Iroh laughed but Sokka knew he was serious.

"I would never lay a hand on Zuko." Sokka assured him.

"I know you wouldn't, I just want the best for my dear nephew." Iroh said pinching Zukos cheek.

"Uncle stop your embarassing me"
The omega whined. Iroh laughed.

"I'm going to go check out the snack table. I've heard you've got fire cakes" Iroh said before walking away.

"Want to get away from everyone?" Sokka asked.
"Hell yeah"

The happy couple walked to the garden outside of ambassadors house where the party was.

They sat on the bench hand in hand.

"I'm really sorry about my uncle. He's protective over me" Zuko apologised.
"I've noticed." Sokka chuckled.

"I can't believe any of this is real, our wedding day, this party. Its all real" Zuko whispered in disbelief.

"Same here. I'm so happy I'm married to you"

Zuko kissed his husband softly.
"I'm happy too"

Sokka smiled at the omega.
"I love you so much Zuko."

"You two make me sick"

Zuko and Sokka turned around to see Toph standing behind them with a disgusted expression on her face.

"What are you doing here? Go enjoy the party" Sokka said.

"What are you doing here, its your party and your out here making out with your new husband."

"Its too crowded in there we wanted to be alone"

"Firstly, ew. How am I supposed to party without my best friends there?"

Sokka sighed giving in.
"Let's all go dance together then"

Sokka stood up and reached out a hand to help Zuko up.

They walked back to the house with Toph following close behind.

Sokka grabbed Zukos and Tophs hand and led them to the dance floor.

Toph stayed close to them but still left them alone.

The music slowed and Sokka grabbed Zukos waist and the pair danced slowly in sync.

"Ugh you guys are disgusting. I'm going to find Katara" Toph said leaving the newly weds alone.

Sokka dipped Zuko slowly. He was holding him close, his nose at the crook of the omegas neck.

"I love you so much" Zuko whispered into his husband.

They held eachother close as the music came to a end.

Breathing heavily they looked into eachothers eyes.

"Wanna call it a night?" Zuko asked. Sokka nodded in response.
