Adopted By the Griers'

Chapter 1

So today was the day. The day the Griers' are going to adopt me. I had just finished packing and now I'm getting dressed. I put on a sweater, leggings then boots and put my hair in a messy bun(probably the best I've done), and then put a scarf around my neck. I finished my make up then brought all of my things downstairs and sat with the other girls, Jessica, Samantha, Daniella, and Amanda. We've all become such great friends, I'm gonna miss them so much.

We were sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast. Pancakes, bacon and orange juice. "Bree, do you know what family got you yet?" Danny asked.

"Yeah. But don't freak out when I tell you." I said.

Jess looked at me confused, "Why would we freak out abou-"

I cut her off. "I'm being adopted by the Griers'."

"WHAT THE FUCK YOUR SO LUCKY!" Sam yelled.

Ms. Ansile turned around quick, "Sam what your mouth!"

Amanda looked so shocked. "You. Are. Being. Adopted. By. The. Griers'?!"

"Yes" I said so happy.

"As in Nash, Hayes, Skylynn, Chad, and Elizabeth Grier? Those Griers'?" Sam asked.

I said, "Yeah! The only Griers' we've heard of."

"Girls you all get to meet them before she leaves too. The whole family is coming to get her." Ms. Ansile said smiling.

All of the girls looked at each other then screamed. That's the loudest I've ever heard them scream, I think I might be deaf now.

We get done eating around 10:30 so the girls go upstairs and hurry to get dressed while I sit in the living room watching tv. My beeped and I saw I had a tweet notification from Hayes. It read: "Omw to pick up the new sis. We're all pretty excited to meet her."
I faved and retweeted it. I forgot they live about an hour away I will probably never see my best friends again. Not at school, not in the park, not at this place I used to call home. Just on a small little video screen.

The girls come downstairs at 11. 1 hour until I leave. I can't wait to leave, but at the same time I don't want to go. "Bree I'm going to miss you so much freaking much." Jess said almost crying. I was closer to her than the rest of the girls so I'm going to miss her the most.

"I'm going to miss you too. All of you." I say sniffing. All of us end up crying and in a big hug. Then the doorbell rings. The time has come. Ms. Ansile opens the door but we are still in our group hug. The family walks in and sees us hugging.

"Is this all of her stuff?" Elizabeth asked. Ms. Ansile nods and Chad tells the boys to go put them in the car. The five of us are still standing in our group hug crying.

When the boys come back Ms. Ansile says, "Okay girls, it's time for Bree to go now." We finally break from out hug and stare at the family. The girls all ask Nash and Hayes for a picture and an autograph before we leave. I even take a quick picture with the girls because I will probably never see them again. They each gave me something to remember them by and then I gave each of them a quick hug. I even gave Ms. Ansile a hug. The girls walked outside the their car and watched us drive off. I look at them and they are staring back at me and we all wave. I wipe my tears away and look at the town I'm leaving behind. Ontario to LA. I'm going to miss this place.
