**Friday Night**
Jack knocked on the door to pick me up for dinner with him and his parents. Right when he saw me he was speechless.
"W-wow." He said. "You look beautiful."
"Thanks." I said. I was wearing a black shirt, cream colored jeans, heels, my locket, and a ring on my pointer finger with a handbag in my hand and my hair was curled.((not wearing the jacket))
"These are for you." He was holding a bouquet of flowers out waiting for me to take them.
I was holding my nose and backed away a little bit. "What type of flowers are they?"
"Lilies." He told me.
I sneezed. "I'm allergic to lilies." I heard another sneezing from the couch where Hayes was sitting. He looked over at us, he must be allergic to them too.
"Weird how you two are allergic to the same thing." He said trying to make a joke.
"Get them out of here!" Hayes and I said at the same time.
"Oh right." Jack ran outside and threw them as far as he could then came back.
"It was nice of you to bring flowers though.." I said half smiling.
"Ready to go?" He asked. We drove for about 10 minutes to get to his house.
I walk inside with Jack and there's like a buffet in here. His parents really went all out. There was mashed potatoes and gravy, fruit salad, turkey, greens, rice, and pasta, it seemed like Thanksgiving.
"Hi Breeanna." His mom and dad said smiling at me.
"Hi Mrs and Mr. Gilinsky." I said smiling back.
"I hope you like everything I made tonight." His mom said.
"Well it all looks great, I beat I will." I said back. "But this all looks like a buffet or a Thanksgiving dinner. Are your daughters coming to?"
They laughed at the buffet and thanksgiving dinner part. "No they won't be joining us today. Busy with their own lives." His dad said.
"Oh." I said.
"So are we just going to stand here and talk or sit, eat, and talk?" Jack asked.
We all laughed then sat at the table and passed food around. "So Breeanna. Tell us about yourself." His mom said.
"What do you want to know? And you can just call me Bree." I said.
"Hmm." She said thinking. "What were your grades like in school?"
"I think my final grades were 6 A's and 2 B+'s" I said.
"We're you in advanced or diff classes?" She asked.
"Yes." I said. "I was a grade ahead in math. So I'm at the same level of math as he is." I was pointing at Jack.
"Hey? Right here.." He said.
We all laughed except Jack. "Well maybe you can tutor him so he would have at least a B." His mom said.
We all started laughing again, but Jack didn't. I looked at him and he looking at me with his eyebrows rose and I quickly stopped laughing.
"I don't need to be tutored. I average my grades to a D because I chose not to work hard." He was a little upset.
"Um I think we should change the subject." I said still looking at him.
"Okay, well what do you like to do?" His dad asked.
"Well I like to hangout with friends and family and I like to sing and play my guitar." I said.
Jack was looking at me shocked. He mom said, "well someone who can play the guitar and sing can get really far in life."
"I didn't know you played the guitar." Jack said.
I took a bit of the pasta, "I don't tell much people that. Only people I told was the girls at the Foster house, but that's because they lived there and they would hear me."
"Are you any good at singing and playing the guitar?" His dad asked.
"She's a great singer, her and her friend are going to sing with Jack and me in our next song." Jack said.
"What about guitar?" He asked again.
"I don't know. I think I'm pretty good." I said. "I can play the piano a little too. I'm not that good though."
"You are such a talented young girl." his mom said.
"Thanks" I said.
"I've been waiting to ask this question, but since you are talented at other things why not ask now?" He said. "Do you play any sports?"
I chuckled a little, "yeah I play a little volleyball but I'm not really good, and i play basketball and run track." I said.
"Why didn't you play for the school?" He asked.
"Because it was so late in the year. There was only a month left of school left." I said. "But I did at my old school."
"Well I think you have a very bright future ahead of you, just don't quit anything you're doing right now." His mom told me.
We finish eating dinner and Jack and I get ready to leave. "Thank you Mrs and Mr Gilinsky for the wonderful dinner."
His mom said, "thank you for coming." We walk out the house and get in the car. The whole care ride back to my house was quiet, I think Jack is mad at me.
I look over at him when he stops the car in front of my house, not moving. "Well aren't you going to get out?!" He said with an attitude.
"Jack what's the matter?" I asked.
"You! My parent! You guys were just talking shit about me like the whole time!" He said raising his voice.
"Jack they asked me questions and I answered them. I didn't mean to say anything rude about you!" I said getting my voice to the same level as his.
"Really? 'I'm a grade ahead in math so I'm at the same level as him' then you pointed at me." He was trying to talk in my voice.
"I was joking around. Gee you really can't take a joke can you?" I said.
"Bree. There is a difference between making a joke and making fun of someone. You guys were making fun of me." His voice was still raised.
"I know there is. They might have been making fun of you but I was making a joke." I said.
"Well you made a joke I didn't really find funny." He said. "Then you didn't even tell me about what you like to do or what you're good at. But you still told my parents."
"Jack I said I didn't tell people that. And your parents asked, you didn't."
"That's just something you should tell your BOYFRIEND. Couples don't keep secrets from each other." He said. "And why haven't I ever seen your guitar in your room?"
"Because I hide it in my closet." I said quiet.
"You hide it in your closet? Wow so you didn't want me to find out at all? Thanks for making that clear for me. What else are you hiding from me? What were you never a virgin? Do you even like me? Or love me?" He asked.
"Jack u have never lied to you. Everything I told you is true. I just didn't tell you one little thing and you're mad at me for it?" I asked.
"I just think you should've told me. Like I said couples don't keep secrets, and they trust each other. What's a relationship without trust?" He asked.
"I have NEVER gave you a reason not to trust me." I said.
"Really? Well what about now?" He said. I got out the car and slammed the door. He got out the car too, leaving the door open. "Bree we weren't finished talking."
I turned around while walking towards the door. "You we aren't done yelling at each other? Well I am. Don't call or text me ever again. Oh and here, catch." I took the locket off and tossed it to him then turned back around and opened the door to the house.
I immediately ran upstairs to my room and locked the door.
