Chapter 11

Inside room 144. Taylor lays there in her hospital bed smiling when she sees all of us. "Hi Taylor." Me and Carter said smiling.

"Hi Bree, Hi Carter." She said glowing. For someone who just got in a car accident she seems pretty happy.

"You seem happy." Carter says.

"Yeah, I'm just happy I'm alright. When I got in that car accident I passed out and my life flashed between my eyes and I thought it was over." She said.

"Well we knew you were going to be alright. We had hope." I said. "And Tay listen, this whole thing between Me and Jess is not your fault. Don't stress about it at all. Or anymore anyway."

She chuckled a little. "I just hate that she said those things to you. And when you guys got in that fight-"

"Tay, don't worry about it. Just forget about the whole thing. This is my problem, and it's just something me and Jess have to deal with." I said.

"But she said things about me too. About all of us girls. Aren't you upset about that?" She asked.

"Of course I'm upset about it. I just don't want you or anyone else worrying about it. Look where worrying about it got you already." I said.

"I know I know. I'll try to forget it." She said smiling. She looked over at Carter. "Carter, when I said my life flashed in front of my eyes earlier, it really did. And I thought about all of our memories together. I didn't know if I was going to make it, and through all of this doubt, I just really wanted to see you again, and hear your voice, and tell you..." I could tell she was feeling light headed.

Carter walked closer to her, grabbed her non broken hand, and caressed her hair with his free hand. He saw that she was feeling light headed to but he was curious so he said, "Tell me what?"

"I wanted to tell you that. That. I-I love you." She said then blacked out.

"I love you too." He said quiet and sad since she didn't hear it.

Taylor's mother pressed the nurse's button and I ran out to the hallway and yelled for a nurse. The nurses came quick and I went back to the room to see what was going on.

The 5 of us looked at her and started bawling. Her family shared a hug and me and Carter shared a hug. The doctor came over to us 5. "I'm sorry but you guys have to leave."

We walked back out the room to the wait room where everyone was waiting. I ran up to Jack and hugged him still crying. "Bree what happened?"

"S-she was t-talking t-to us in t-there and s-she p-passed o-out." I tried to say in between sniffs.

"She passed out again?!" Nicole asked loudly.

"Yeah. She was telling me how she loved me and then just passed out." Carter said crying. I looked at him and let out a arm from me and Jacks hug for him to join. Besides Jack he's my best guy friend and he needs a friend right now, but he doesn't join the hug. Instead he goes and sits down and Cam and Nash joins him to keep him company.

We all decided to stay at the hospital until we get anything results back. Even if it takes all night. Regardless I'm staying the night with her. To make sure she's okay.

I see one of the nurses that rushed into her room when she passed out. I run up to her. "Um nurse. Hi, I just wanted to to know if you guys had any information about Taylor McCombs and her condition. If she okay."

"Yeah she's fine. The problem of her passing out was the lack of fluids and food for her today. Do you know when the last time she ate was?" The nurse said.

"Um... Actually I don't think she ate at all today. We had an early flight today and we just got back from New York before the accident. So probably yesterday." I said.

"Well she's all fine now." She said looking at everyone in the room who heard too.

"Well can we go see her?" I asked.

"Just to say bye to her. It's getting late and she needs her sleep." The nurse said.

"Okay." I said. We all walked over to Taylor's room.

"Hey" everyone said to her.

"Hi." Taylor said.

"We can't stay, we just came to say bye and we'll see you tomorrow." Hayes said.

"I know..." She said.

I look at Maya and Nicole and they looked back and know we were thinking the same thing. Nicole looked at the nurse. "Um nurse, can the three of us stay the night here?"

"If it's okay with Taylor then sure." She said. We all look at Taylor and she smiles while nodding.

Everyone else said bye to her except Carter. He waited for everyone else to leave then walked up to Taylor and sat in the chair beside her. "Carter, I know what I said before I passed out, but I don't remember anything after that, what did you say after I told you I loved you?" Taylor said looking sad, curious, and worried.

"I. I told you I love you too." He said. Carter gave her a slight hug, and kiss on the forehead then walked out the room, closing the door behind him.

"Hey, I'm sorry for doing something stupid like this. I'm going to be in a wheel chair all summer and we haven't even had any real fun at all." Taylor said.

"No Taylor. It's not your fault and it's fine. We can still have fun with you in a wheel chair." Maya said.

"Taylor you should get some rest." Nicole said.

"Yeah you're right." Taylor said. "I love you guys."

"I love you too." Maya, Nicole, and me all said at the same time. We hugged and then Taylor slowly fell asleep.

Me and the girls decided to take turns watching Taylor throughout the night. Maya was first and so Nicole and me fell asleep and Maya tried not to fall asleep yet.
