Chapter 25

I ran inside with everyone staring at me and I run upstairs to my room and bury my head in my pillow crying my eyes out. Will and Hayes both come running after me.

"Bree?" Will said walking to me slowly. Jack raced in right after them.

"GET THE HELL OUT MY ROOM. GET OUT OF MY LIFE." I yell.

"Bree what you saw is not what it looked like. Sh-" he said.

"I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN A LIE. I EVEN TOLD YOU NOT TO DO ANYTHING STUPID." I yell.

"Let me explain. Please." He said with tears rolling down his face. All of my friends(everyone me and Hayes talked to at the door)were soon piled in my room and so was my parents, leaving the guest outside continuing the party. Maggie and Madison walked in last.

"Don't let him. He's done too many things. This should be the last straw." Nicole said.

"No listen to what he has to say, it'll make you feel better." My mom said.

"Talk." I said arms crossed and dried tears down my face.

"I didn't want to kiss her. She kissed me. When we did the switch she was saying things like 'Did you miss me?' 'I know you did' 'kiss me' 'it's not like Bree will find out' 'we can secretly date' 'come on please' and I kept saying no, and that I love you but she just wouldn't listen. And then she pulled my face in and kissed me, I tried to pull back but she wouldn't let me. Bree I really do love you and you know I wouldn't do this to you. Believe me." He said.

I bit my lip a little. "Jack I want to believe you. I just don't know how." I told him. He then looked down.

"Bree he's telling the truth. I'm sorry." Madison said. "And Hayes I'm sorry too. I really do like you."

"Madison you know I'm having trust issues and I wanted to start being friends with you. But you just ruined it." I told her.

"I know. But I do want to be your friend. And I think if I tell you the truth on why I did this, you won't believe me." She said.

"Wait what? Tell me why. There's a chance I will believe you." I tell her.

"It was Jessica's idea." She started. "She found out about your party and she knew I was going to come, and she knew you didn't really like me as much. She told me that her plan with that Kyle guy didn't work so she needed a knew one. She dmed me the who thing on Twitter."

"What plan?" I asked.

"She wants you and Jack to break up. She told me if I didn't do it she was going to do much worse than this. And that's all she said and didn't reply back to me." She said.

"What's worse than what she's already done? She's lied about being my BEST friend and then she tried to ruin my entire life?" I said.

"I'm not on Jess's side, but how is you and Jack breaking up ruining your entire life." Will asked.

"Will, he is my entire life. Why do you think I get so upset when I think of stuff like this, or when we argue." I say then get a little quieter, "he's my other half"

I was now looking down and he looked up at me. He reaches for my hand and I stare at it for a while then take it and he pulls me up. "You can just trust me." He said looking into my eyes. I looked down at the ground then at everyone else. He moved my head so my eyes was on him. "Say something."

"Jack you know I love you. You mean the world to me. This is all just too much." I closed my eyes and started crying again. Hayes got up and pulled me away from Jack and brought me into a hug. I covered my face and put my head in his chest.

"Bree if you don't believe him then believe me." Madison said and everyone was confused. "I still have the dms to prove it."

Madison got out her phone and pulled up the dms on Twitter. I read through them and hug her because of the last one I read. It said, 'I did what you told me to & I feel terrible. Never text me again & leave everyone LA alone. Bree & Jack are perfect for each other!'

Jack walks over to the other side of the room with his hands behind his head. He looks down at the ground and sees a heart made out of tape. "Hey Bree what's this?"

I look up and walkover to where he was standing. I slightly punched his shoulder smiling and whispered, "you know what happened here."

"There's that smile I've been looking for." He said wiping my tears away.

I chuckled a little. "I love you."

"I love you too baby girl." He whispered pulling my head to his chest as I wrapped my arms around his back and he kissed my forehead.

After a couple of minutes I let go of him and went over to sit next to Hayes on the bed. "You okay about this whole thing?"

He looked up at Madison. "Yeah. As long as she did this for the reason she said she did then I'll be fine."

"Hayes I'm sorry." Madison said sitting in the other side of him. "Can you give me another chance?"

"I don't know." He said.

"She's like your best friend. You know she wouldn't do something like this unless she was forced." Nash said.

Hayes realized what Nash said was true and he gave her a hug.

"Um Madison? Maggie?" I started and they both looked at me. "The girls and me are having a sleepover tonight. You two want to join?"

They both looked at each other and said, "yeah of course!"
