"We can stay if you want." I said. "I don't mind watching."
"No you need to get to Taylor's house anyway. And there are some people down there I don't want you around." He told me.
"Either way they will see me." I said.
"BREE! I DON'T WANT YOU AROUND THEM!" He yelled. "Now let's go before the race starts!"
I stared at him for a few seconds. "Fine let's go." I told him and walked into the warehouse and out the front doors. I stood by his car and waiting for him to unlock the door.
"Slow down Bree." He said as he walked out of the warehouse and locked the door then unlocking the car door.
"Just drive. So we can leave before the race starts." I said.
He look at me for a moment then started the car and drove off. "Are you mad at me?"
"Take a guess." I said.
"I'll take that as a yes?" He asked.
"Good guess." I said with attitude.
We drove in silence for about 5 minutes.
"You know I love you right?" He asked.
"Mhm"
"Why are even mad? Is it because I yelled at you?" He asked.
"Honestly I'm not even mad about that. I'm just really upset that you yelled at me to get your point around. You could simply told me nicely." I said.
"So sensitive." I heard him whisper to himself.
I looked over at him. "I heard that." I said. "What's so wrong about being sensitive?"
"Baby, you're making a big deal out of nothing. You know I didn't mean it like that."
"Then how did you mean it? Damn it Jack, we spent a while sitting on that roof and me talking about my problems and how I felt. Were you just thinking 'oh this helpless sensitive girl'." I said.
"I know. And I'm glad you told me about it. But you know I didn't mean any of that."
"Well you said it. Jack, for the rest of my life I will have trouble trusting people and I really thought you were one person I could trust and count on. But I guess you just made the list for who need to try to trust." I said. "Can you pull over?"
"Why?"
"So I can walk the rest of the way." I said.
"Bree, we are almost there let me drive you the rest of the way." He said.
"Whatever." I said and a few moments later we were at Taylor's house.
"Hey look at me." He said and I looked at him. "How long are you gonna be mad at me?"
"Honestly, I don't know." I said.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too. Can I go now?" I asked.
