Chapter 42

It's September 10, Jack Gilinsky's 18th birthday (I know he actually turned 19). All of our friends hated that it was on a school night but we were planning a party anyway.

Today I decided to ride with Nash and Hayes to school and as soon as we pulled up I saw Gilinsky talking to Johnson in the middle of the quad.

They started walking towards him but I ran and jumped on his back. "Happy Birthday Baby!"

"Thanks princess." He laughed, "so what do you have planned for me tonight."

I jump off his back, "hmm, maybe just go to dinner with all of our friends or whatever."

"Dinner? Is that before or after the party?" He asked.

"What party?" I sounded clueless.

"The party I've been hearing about?"

"I don't know anything about a party." I say.

"Yeah whatever," he scoffed, "didn't you guys here about it?"

Nash, Hayes and Johnson all shook their heads 'no'.

The bell rang for first period to start and Johnson, Jack, and me walk to class together, Jack still confused about the party.

We see Carter on our way to class and he starts to walk with us, "hey Carter did you hear anything about a party?" Jack asked him.

"No?" He questioned.

"Oh" Jack said quietly.

"So dinner tonight? Meet at my house at 7?" I asked as we walk into class.

"Yeah, sure." Jack says. Both Jacks sit next to each other in the second to last row and Carter and me sit next to each other right behind them.

After school

Jack and I were outside in the back of the school in out 'spot', "are you sure there is nothing planned for tonight?" He asked confused.

"I told you, dinner, but if you don't want to go out to dinner we can just do whatever." I say.

"Whatever?" He said seductively and put his hands around my waist.

I softly kiss his lips, "not that" I say then smiles, "but I can still tease."

"It's my birthday, no teasing today."

"Actually there will be teasing all day." I say smiling, "some people do birthday licks, we are doing birthday teases. I get to tease you 18 times today so watch out."

"So not fair, I didn't do it on your birthday." He pouts.

"Well that's because I just thought of it."

"But you know how I am when I'm around you." He says.

I laugh, "that's the point."

"As long as you're a tease can I be one too?" He asked.

"Yeah sure. Just not today. Today I'm in charge of you. I get to do whatever I want to you." I say. "And I'm thinking about doing 'whatever'."

He smiles, "seriously?"

I wrap my arms around his neck and nod, "God you're so sexy."

"Sexy? Nah I think that's you."

"You think?"

"I know." He says and kisses me.

"Did you know I love you?" I say smiling.

"I was hoping." He said and kissed me again, "hey, we can always get to the 'whatever' part right now."
