Chapter 40

We get to this Brooke Adams house and there's about 30 people here already, inside and out side the house. I see an unfamiliar face stand by the door. She had brown hair and brown eyes and freckles all around her face, but she was extremely pretty(girl in picture).

We walk up to the door and introduce ourselves, "um hi, I'm Breeanna but everyone calls me Bree. And this is Taylor, Gianna, Nicole and Maya."

"I know who all of you are." The girl said and we all looked confused. "The most popular people in school, the panthers. And you all are dating semi-famous people."

"Ohh." Taylor says.

"Well I'm Brooklyn Adams, I guess I'll be going to your high school with you."

"We are happy you invited us and that we came, but uh, how did you get our numbers?" I asked.

"I have connections." She says.

"Are you from here?"

"No, Michigan, just moved here."

"Oh."

"Hey ladies." Johnson said, "who's this?"

"Brooklyn" Brooke says. "Well I don't want to keep you all waiting, go have fun. Get a drink. And be sure to stick around for the midnight surprise."

Jack and I walk over to get a drink and I start to take a sip, "she seemed nice." He said.

"Yeah. But when I asked her how she got our number she just said she had connections."

"Hmm, weird."

I see Gianna walking to sit on the couch with Cam and Nash. "Hey why didn't Nate and Sammy come?" I whisper.  

"Gianna still doesn't know yet. And she can't find out until Monday. You haven't told anyone have you?" I whispered back.

"No. I started to tell Taylor but then I just said she has to find out on Monday."

"Ok good." He says. "So do you want to stay at my house again?"

"Well I don't know if Taylor had anything planned for us after this but if not then I still don't know." I say and he looks confused. "While my parents are gone I have to run everything by Nash and he might say no."

Jack takes a step closer to me, "so you miss me today?"

"As much as I love you and as much as I hate being away from you, it actually felt nice to just hangout with my family and friends for a little bit."

"So you didn't miss me?"

"I didn't say that." I laughed.

"Well if you didn't miss me I know you missed this." He pulls me close and kisses me then he pulls away. "Follow me"

Jack grabs my hand and pulls me upstairs and into an empty room.

"What are we doing in here?" I scoffed.

"I have something for you." He says taking something out of his pocket. "I know I've given you a lot of jewelry but I saw this and just had to get this for you."

He opens the box and there's a silver bracelet with half a heart. "Where's the open half?"

Jack reaches in his other pocket and gets out his key chain. "Right here."

"Awe I love you. But you don't need to buy me all of this stuff."

"I need to show you I love you." He says.

"I know you love me but-"

"But nothing. You're keeping this bracelet and anything else I give you."
