You walked a bit further until Orbot pointed to a door. "There's your room Miss. Now that we know you'll be staying with us, we'll come and check on you every now and then."

"Thanks..." You replied, trying to calculate how long you'd be stuck here. Before you could even process the thought, you suddenly heard approaching footsteps. You turned your head to see and angry looking Eggman storming down the hall straight towards you.

"You!" He growled.

"Again...?" You sighed defeatedly.

"I'm so sick and tired of this crap! I can't get it right! You better tell me the secret of the chaos emeralds now!" He yelled.

"I already told you I can't!"

"Can't or won't!?"

"Maybe it's both." You huffed, crossing your arms.

"You'll regret this! So help me, I'll—

"What? What'll you do?" You taunted.

"The worst thing you can think of, and don't tempt me either..." He growled through gritted teeth.

You shrugged. "So anyways, Infinite, who is he?"

The male let out an annoyed sigh. "If you're grateful at all for Infinite sparing your life, then you would tell me how to do this! It's quite literally for him!" He fumed.

"What...how?"

"Why should I answer all of your questions, when you can't simply answer one of mine!" He growled.

Okay, so maybe he did have a point...but honestly, you couldn't say what he wanted to hear, because you never heard it yourself. He kidnapped you a little to soon. It was strange, how he came right before your mom was going to tell you the next secret...maybe those rules were useful for once. You wondered how your clan was doing. They were probably hard at work trying to rebuild the village...maybe someone was looking for you right now, and soon you would be back at home. After all of this, maybe you wouldn't even want to know about the chaos emeralds anymore. All you wanted was to see your mom and Ivy again.

Eggman raised a brow at your silence. "Giving me the silent treatment now!?"

"Oh no, no, I'm sorry. I was just daydreaming..." You responded.

"Well you should be sorry! Infinite never spares anyone, but yet he had enough pity for you. You should be ashamed of yourself."

"What is it that you want to do to him anyways?" You asked, narrowing your eyes a bit.

"It's not what I want to do, he wants this himself...so that's why I thought you would have enough decency to tell me about the emeralds. This way we could both help him out." He answered.

What did Infinite want with the chaos emeralds? "I can tell you about the chaos emeralds...just not that certain secret. If I do that, will you tell me about Infinite?" You bargained.

"If you want to know about Infinite, then just go ask him yourself!" Eggman spat. "I don't want your other lousy facts, I already know everything I need except this one thing!"

"Fine." You huffed, crossing your arms and glaring at him.

"...You annoy me, why don't you just go back to your room now."

"You mean my cage." You snorted.

"Just go!"

"Okay, okay, I will."

"Orbot, Cubot, let's go!" He commanded the robots.

Orbot and Cubot, who had been standing there quietly, now followed Eggman down the dark hallway towards the lab. Cubot gave a little wave to you before disappearing around the corner. You turned towards the door leading to your room. It was more like a cell than anything else. There were no windows, so it was dark. The walls were made out of stone and the door was made of iron. There was a small bed in the corner, but that was pretty much it.
