"Hey. We're home." Chan nudged me softly to wake me up. Groggily I lifted my head. The car had parked in front of the house and the driver already walked around the car to open the door for us.
Slowly I got out of the car, the driver supporting me until Chan got out. "감사합니다 (Thank you)" I said, trying to bow to him, but stumbled almost immediately. Chris quickly wrapped his arm around my waist and I felt my cheeks heating up in embarrassment. The driver asked something, sounding worried, but Chan shook his head and answered in a confident tone.
Turning to him I whispered: "Could you please tell him that I'm not acting like this because I'm drunk?" Chan chuckled shortly, but complied with my request, causing the driver to smile and raise his hands apologetically. He bowed to us and then got back into the car, driving back to the bar to wait for the rest of the group.
Chan kissed my temple and then steered me towards the entrance door. We entered the house, but he still made no move to let go of me. "Christopher, I can walk on my own...!" I groaned and squeaked when he pulled his supporting arm from my waist without a warning. My knees buckled, threatening to give out under me. But before I could fall he caught me again.
"Mhm. You can walk. But not now..." he grinned and I hit his chest playfully. "Twit..." I scolded and he giggled. "Twit? Are you serious? Look at that woman, I'm just trying to keep her safe over here, while she stumbles through life, in danger of hurting herself on almost every corner, and this is what I get as a Thank you...!" he lamented and shook his head in disbelief.
We giggled, kicked off our shoes in the entrance and headed towards the living room.
In the next second he bent down and quickly lifted me up into his arms completely. Instinctively I wrapped my arms around his neck for support and blinked at him in mild shock.
When he looked at me, my heart started beating faster. His eyes flickered from mine to my lips and back. I leaned towards him, but he didn't meet me in the middle like usual. "I want to kiss you so bad right now..." he whispered, licking his lips. "Then why don't you?"
"I don't dare to. I hurt you already once today, I'm scared that it'll happen again..." I lifted my hand and stroked his face. "Let me down. Please?" I whispered, searching his gaze. After a second he obliged and put me back on my feet, his arms still around me in case I'd stumble.
"Chan, please look at me?" He took a deep breath and finally looked into my eyes. I brushed a strand of hair out of his face and smiled. "Mistakes happen. You can't possibly know all of my trigger points after just one week, okay? 'Cause mate: there are MANY of them...And if I recall correctly, it was YOU, whom I called for, when I knew that I was going to lose against the flashback. Because I knew you would know what to do and keep me safe."
He swallowed hard and blinked rapidly a few times. His thumb was gently stroking my lower back through my shirt and I shivered. Tilting my head I grinned at him. "Now, could you please be so kind and kiss me like I'm a normal human being and not a fragile glass figurine? Because I am not. I may have unwanted souvenirs from my past, but they are only witnesses of me surviving this past..."
For a second he just stared at me, then he slowly leaned forward and laid his lips on mine. Sighing I buried my fingers in his hair, my other hand trailing down his biceps. The cognition that we had the house completely to ourselves hit me late, but hard. We were alone. No members, no schedules, no nothing...could it really finally be our chance to...?
There was only one way to find out... I pressed my body against his, stood on my toes and slightly pulled his hair. He groaned and pulled me as close to him as possible. My hand slowly wandered down his back and after hesitating for a second I let it slip under his shirt.
