"Oh no...no no no...!"

I rushed over to the unconscious security man and shook him by the shoulder.

"Kaylee, what's wrong?" Only now I remembered that I was still on the phone with Chan. "It's...It's Taehyung-nim. I think he fell down or something, he is unconscious..." I whined, still shaking the big man, trying to wake him up.

At that moment music started playing and I froze. Chan heard it too.

"Is...that Chicago...?" He choked and I closed my eyes to collect myself. "Y-yes..." I whispered. Slowly I stood up and turned around to the couch, where the music was coming from.

Brent sat on the edge of the couch, his phone in his hand, playing 'Hard habit to break'. He smiled slyly at me, wriggling his fingers in a macabre 'Hello' gesture. My heart pounded loudly in my ears and my hands were shaking.

"He's there, isn't he..?" Chan whispered. Brent laid a finger to his lips, still grinning like a maniac.

I swallowed hard. "Yeah...yeah you're absolutely right..." I said in a light tone, as if Chan had comforted me and I was calming down now. Chan hissed something in Korean and I heard that he had started running. "We're coming Darling, hold on okay?"

"Yeah, no problem, see you tomorrow, mate." I answered in the same lighthearted tone as before, not taking my eyes off Brent, hoping to lure him into a false feeling of safety by making him believe the guys would come back tomorrow.

"I love you." Chan whispered and I felt myself choke up. Would this be the last time I'd hear him say that? "Same..." I whispered back and hung up, clutching my phone hard and pressing a button twice.

Brent stood up and crossed his arms before his chest and looked me up and down. "Hi Puppy."

The two words were enough to make me feel slightly sick. He stepped closer and bent down slightly, taking the phone out of my hand which hung limply at my side. Without looking at it he threw it backwards at the couch, from which it bounced off and fell to the floor.

"Long time no see...I thought I had raised you better than that, Puppy. Running off into the night, trying to vanish without saying goodbye...But don't worry, you can make up for your mistakes as soon as we are home..." he sneered and a cold shiver ran down my spine.

He'd kill me. Like he had killed Jessy. I was quite sure of it. I registered dark circles under his eyes, which gave me a slight feeling of grim satisfaction. He seemed to have gotten very little sleep lately and his body language was telling me that he wasn't as relaxed as he wanted to appear.

Maybe he knew that he hadn't as much time as he had thought at first.

He lifted his hand and cupped my face in his palm, making me freeze instantly. "Sweet, sweet Kaylee..." he murmured and before I could react he grabbed my waist, leaned forward and pressed a kiss onto my lips. I stemmed my hands against his torso, trying to push him away but he didn't budge.

So I just froze, let my hands fall passively to my side and changed to standing there like a puppet, not moving a muscle, while he tried in vain to deepen the kiss.

Finally he pulled back, his hand still on my face. He studied my face, nothing but cold calculation in his gaze.

"Have you missed me very much, my love?" he murmured, his thumb stroking over my cheek and my lips.

I didn't answer- honestly, what did he expect me to say? - and suddenly he grabbed my hair hard and pulled me closer. "I asked you something, puppy! Did. You. Miss. Me?" he hissed between clenched teeth, shaking me with every word.
