Bright light shone into my face, waking me up. I groaned and pulled the pillow over my face. Slowly a dull thumping began in my head, reminding me of yesterday evening.

The Bar. Karaoke. The guys. And...Chan. Despite the beginning headache a smile spread across my face. Slowly I reached up to my neck, touching the necklace he had given me and my heart fluttered when I thought of our very first kiss afterwards.

We had stayed until the bar closed, then he had walked me home, letting the other guys take care of IN, who - despite the much lesser amount of alcohol - had also been quite tipsy in the end.

Chan had held my hand the whole way, stroking the back of it with his thumb, entwining our fingers. We didn't speak much while walking towards my hostel, but it had been "our" silence, the calming one, the comfortable one.

When we arrived at my door he had kissed me again and again, seemingly unable to let me go. I cherished every second. The feeling of his fingers holding my face, the taste of his lips, the shots of electricity when he had pulled me close, our bodies touching.

I reached over to grab my phone and checked the time. It was already 12am and I had two messages from Chan. One was from about 2am, after he had brought me home: "I'm home now. Good night, Beautiful, sleep well. Hope 2 see u tomorrow."

The second was from about 30 min ago: "Good morning, sleepyhead, how are you feeling today?" I grimaced and started to write back, when he suddenly called. Was he some kind of telepathy or something? I answered the call.

"Hello?" My voice was kinda raspy and still kind of sleepy.

"Hello to you too." I could hear him grinning and laid a hand against my forehead. "How's the head, Darling?"

I blinked in surprise. "How do you...?" He laughed. "You're not the first human being to try alcohol, Kaylee. And I remember my first time being drunk, the day after was horrible" I groaned.

"Yes, I can confirm THAT. Yesterday was quite alright, aside from the spinning. But now, since I woke up, I feel like I got hit by a road train."

Chan giggled. "I assumed it'd be that way. If you want to, I'd be at your place in about 20 minutes, bringing you the cure you need, what do you say?"

"Do you mean yourself by the cure, or...?" He chuckled shyly and I literally could see him scratch his head and grinned. "No, a REAL cure. I'm just the delivery boy."

"Alright, I'll just take a shower and try to restore my face. I haven't got up yet, so I don't know how big the damage is, but 20 min should be enough...I think..." - "Just be careful when you get up for the first time. Your head might still be spinning." he warned and I smiled about his concern. "I'll keep it in mind. Now, if you excuse me, I've got a date with my shower."

"Googling 'How to become a shower'..." - "What?" - "Nothing, see you soon!" He hung up and my cheeks blazed. Had he really said that? Jeez...

I shook my head and sat up. As he had foretold, the room spun for a few seconds and the headache increased. I groaned. Now I knew why Cara always had cursed alcohol on "the Day after".

Slowly I trotted into my bathroom, took off my Jeans and my underwear in which I had obviously slept in and stepped into the shower. The warm water was really nice. I also washed my hair and put in some conditioner. I had finally gotten used to the dark colour. The first few days after dyeing it, it felt like a stranger stared back at me out of the mirror. But now I already kind of liked it.

Possibly because it was a completely different colour than he had always liked. He had wanted his girls to be blonde, elegant and sexy. And subconsciously I had changed my look to the complete opposite. Black hair, Tank Tops, Hoodies, Sneakers...He'd never have tolerated it. But he wasn't here. He would never tell me again, what I should or shouldn't do. Never again, I had promised myself that.
