"My belly's about to explode..." Felix whined and let himself sink back. I just nodded and copied his pose. Chan laughed and took another piece of fried chicken.
"Oh come on, you two. You hardly ate anything..." he teased and I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "We already had that discussion, my dearest Bang Chan-nim..." I shot back and giggled when he shortly choked on his bite. Felix also laughed but quickly grimaced in pain and held his belly again.
"Can't laugh. Too full." he panted. I patted his shoulder consolingly.
That moment Jin-Ju reentered the separated part of the terrace we were sitting on, to see if we needed something. She heard Felix' last words. "Would you like a little bit of Soju? It helps, if you have eaten too much." she asked, smiling genuinely at the blonde Australian.
After a second he nodded and Jin-Ju bowed before reentering the restaurant. She returned with another waiter, each of them carrying a bottle of Soju and shot glasses. Now it was my time to make a suffering face. I had bad memories concerning alcohol.
Looking down the table I met eyes with IN, who also had discovered the bottle in Jin-Ju's hand and suddenly seemed paler than before. The waiter placed the shot glass in front of me and I immediately flipped it over. When the maknae looked at me again I pointed at my glass and he quickly did the same with his, grinning in relief.
I heard a giggle and looked at Chan, but he seemed to be still completely immersed in eating. Only someone who knew him would have discovered the small smirk on his face.
"Are you really gloating at your youngest, Mr. Bang?" I scolded silently and he quickly looked at me out of the corner of his eye. "What? Nooo, why would I do such a thing?? Really, Kaylee..." he answered, trying to sound hurt, but eventually couldn't keep the smile in. I laughed and shook my head at him.
After everyone had finally finished their meal and a few rounds of Soju had passed, Chan stood up and went inside to pay. I saw him talking with Jin-Ju inside and her face went from her professional smile to utter disbelief, joy and finally a wide smile, accompanied by nodding and a few bows.
When Chan returned, grinning and looking quite proud of himself, I raised my brow at him. "What?" he asked, when he sat down next to me again. "What did you tell Jin-Ju?" I asked suspiciously and started poking his side lightly, when he didn't answer immediately. "Huh? Huh? Huh?" I urged with every poke and he finally caught my finger. "Stop that, woman!"
I leaned closer, looking sternly into his beautiful brown eyes, which were sparking with mischief. "What. Did. You. Do?" I asked again. He also leaned closer and suddenly the air felt much thinner, making it harder to breathe properly. "What if I don't want to tell you?" he teased, his voice low and kinda rough.
I swallowed and my eyes flickered to his lips. Getting my shit together I looked back up and narrowed my eyes. "Then I'll be sleeping in the car tonight..." His eyes widened in disbelief and I leaned back, acting casually, even if my body was in uproar from being so close to him. It seemed to be getting worse, the more time we spent together. It was like I had told Cara: It was sizzling...
He also leaned back, still looking at me and laid his index finger on his lips, in a thinking pose.
Then he suddenly shrugged his shoulders and reached for his glass. "Ok, suit yourself..." My mouth dropped open in surprise and he burst out laughing. He took a sip from his glass, placed it back on the table and entwined his fingers over his stomach, looking quite comfortably.
After a second of surprise, I shrugged my shoulders and also reached for my glass. "Ok." You want to play, Bang Chan? You can have it. You have no idea which length I'm willing to go to win. I grinned and took a sip from my glass.
