Samar came forward to hug his mother. Anupama said, "Mai kabse intazar kar rhi hu tum sab ka."

"Bapuji ko kuch urgent kaam agaya tha, mummy. Isliye" he replied.

Anuj came forward to greet them and said, "Bhot acha laga ke aap sab aaye humare khushiyon mein shamil hone ke liye." He then went ahead to introduce his sister to the Shahs.

Mukku being the enthusiastic one came forward and introduced herself saying, "Mai hu Malvika, Anuj Kapadiya ki behen." She turned to her brother and asked, "aur yeh sab kaun hai bhai?"

"Yeh Anupama ka family hai." He said.

"Ohhh...yani yeh mere couldn't-be-bhabi ki family hai!" she exclaimed. The Shahs cringed at the term and Baa got furious saying, "aye! Voh teri bhabi nahi hai. Samjhi!"

"Vahi toh mai keh rahi hu pretty woman. Jo meri bhabi nahi ban saki." Baa melted at being addressed as 'pretty woman'.

"Mukku, you can't be using such terms! Alright." Anuj said in a mild warning tone.

"Lekin bhai..." Mukku started but he cut her saying, "I said no." that sounded like an ultimatum.

Anuj introduced each one of them individually to his sister. "You guys are so cool yaar! I mean ex-husband of Anupama attending her party. Aisa kahan hota hai yaar?!"

"And Oh my God! You are handsome." she exclaimed at Vanraj.

Kavya's jealousy got the better of her. "Oh hello! He's my husband."

"So, what? I'm just stating the fact. And your beautiful face doesn't deserve such negative vibe like jealousy. So, chill." Mukku had her own way of gelling with people and it worked wonders even with her goofy choice of words.

Immediately after that she announced, "Okay bhai! I'm off to meet GK. Bye to all you beautiful people. Doodles!" and she left from there.

"So, let's all go to the party hall. The program is just about to begin." Saying that Anuj entered the hall letting Anupama come with her family.

Vanraj took this opportunity to poison Anupama's mind against Anuj. As all the Shahs started walking, Vanraj hurried to Anupama's side and said, "tum iss Anuj ko itna acha dost manti ho aur voh hai ke apni behen ke baare mein bhi tumhe batana theek nahi samjha."

Anupama just ignored his talks and walked straight ahead. She didn't feel the need to justify anything to this unworthy man.

"Yeh bas kehta hai ke beintehaan pyar hai. But commitment toh dur ki baat hai. Voh toh public mein bhi tumhare saath khade hona pasand nahi karega." Now that bothered Anupama a teeny bit. Her insecure mind was ignorant about those numerous times when he didn't shy away from expressing his concern for her in public.

"Aap itna kyun soch hare hai Mr. Shah. Aap khud pe dhyan dijiye na." she said and walked ahead. Her annoyance made him think that he was successful. Now he was on a mission to know who this Natasha was.

After a few minutes the anchor of the party took to the stage and started, "So, ladies and gentlemen, the time has arrived for the most awaited moment. But let's save the best for the last. Let's begin with another big venture that is to be launched today. This venture was started as an initiative to highlight the unsung heroes of every household. So, without much ado I would now like to call upon Ms. Anupama Joshi, the co-founder of this venture to come on stage and do the further proceedings."
