Happie Reading!!!
Anuj, immersed in work, glanced at the clock – 3:50 pm. With their meeting at 4:00 pm, he gestured to Anupama, signalling it was time. She quickly composed herself, adjusting her saree and hair, before joining him. Together, they made their way to the meeting room, where the culinary trainers awaited their arrival.
They greeted each other warmly before diving into an overview of their organization and the training modules they provided. Anuj and Anupama agreed on the training topics. The trainers presented the finalized list: "F&B Service and Management, Nutrition, Food Safety and Hygiene, Hospitality Communication, and Restaurant Management with Hierarchy."
"But these are very detailed subjects. How are you going to cover it in a short span of time?" asked Anuj.
"We'll provide a brief overview, focusing on the basics. After the restaurant opens, we'll assess their service regularly, offering feedback for continuous improvement." One of them said.
"Okay! So, how are we doing it? Can your team come to Ahmedabad to train our cooks and rest of the team?" asked Anuj.
"No sir. We need proper set-up and equipment for this course. We don't have the bandwidth to move the entire unit to a new location." the trainer responded.
"So, what will be the duration of this course?" asked Anuj.
"10 days sir."
Anuj looked at Anupama and asked, "Mujhe pata hai ke humare restaurant staffs ko 10 din ke liye Mumbai jaa pana bhot mushkil hai. Voh bhi apne parivaar se dur. Kya hum kar sakte hai?"
"Mushkil toh hai. Lekin namumkin nahi. Hum apni poori koshish karenge." Anupama said determined.
"Okay then. Please send in your training modules, plan for these 10 days and training cost. We would be looking after their accommodation."
"Okay sir. We'll be sending you a detailed plan." And with that promise they left from there.
"Anu, how are we going to convince them to go to Mumbai for 10 days? Away from their homes and families?" Anuj sounded worried.
"Humein unko jis bhi tareeke se hosake help karna hoga." she said wondering in what ways she can be of help to them to make this decision.
"Let them bring their kids who are less than three years of age. Because these kids need their mothers. We can hire a baby sitter to take care of them when they are busy with their classes. What say?"
"Yeh ek acha idea hai. Lekin unko families ko convince kar pana bhot mushkil hojayega." Anupama said.
"You know better Anu. You have been there. So, give this some thought and come up with a plan. I will also share my inputs. Then we can go about it." he said.
"Ji. Anuj, mai soch rhi thi ke aap, Mukku aur GK kaka ko bhi ana chahiye." she chipped in.
"Achaa..." He grabbed the remote, pressed a button, and the blinds smoothly descended, granting them privacy.
"Apko aur Mukku ko samay mil jayega apne rishton ko sudharne ka."
"Aur kuch...?" he indicated her to go ahead.
"Ek naya mahol hoga." she said.
"Hmm..." he said without paying heed to her words as he slowly moved towards her.
