Okay okay!!! Here is an early update. So, for this I deserve votes from all my silent readers. If not for that then there is another reason: I have poured all my love for Maan in this update.

It's a short one but definitely a worthy one, I think.

Happie Reading!!!

"Kya batavun Anuj? Aur kaise batavun? Apse kya umeed karu aur kya nahi mujhe samajh hi nahi aa rha!" Anupama said as her heartbeat picked up pace.

"Jab tak tum batavogi nahi toh kaise pata chalega Anu. Communication is the key. Don't you agree?" he urged her to go ahead.

She stood silent not ready to speak yet. Anuj understood she needed time and space but at the same time he also sensed the necessity of crossing the hurdle of hesitation to break down the barrier and fully accept his love for her. He made up his mind and took the toughest decision.

"Theek hai Anu. Tum nahi bata rhi ho toh its okay. I wouldn't force you. Lekin aaj ke baad I will not touch you. I'm at a very tough spot right now. It isn't easy for me too to keep away from you Anu. But it's the best for both of us. Every time I see you in discomfort because of me, I hate myself even more. My mind is always in distress wondering what might offend you. And when you take offense toh mai khud ke nazron mein gir jata hu. Aur mai khud ke saath aisa hote hue nahi dekh sakta." he said and he was being sincere.

"Aisa nahi hai Anuj. Aap galat samajh rahe ho." Anupama felt helpless for him and also for herself that she was unable to express her situation.

"I am not able to love you without feeling restricted. And I believe that our friendship and love is way beyond physicality. I know it's difficult for now. But once we overcome this tension it shouldn't be a problem, I guess. So, yeah. This is right. I am not going to touch you henceforth." he finished with a heavy heart." he said as if to convince himself.

"Pleej Anuj! Khud ko itni badi saja mat do...mujhe itni badi saja mat do. Mai nahi seh pavungi!" she couldn't imagine a life without his warm and protective arms around her. She felt broken and miserable.

"Do you know what it means to be a part of someone? It means you know a person in and out. You are part of their darkest and ugliest sides where they don't feel ashamed of what they are, in front of you. They know that you've got their back. You are also a part of their best and most beautiful sides because they know that you take in pride in their best phase." he said that as if he was in a trance, imagining it.

He then came out of it and faced her saying, "How can I be a part you if you restrict me from half of your existence? Tell me Anupama. Aisa lagta hai jaise mujh mein hi kami hai ke you are not able to trust me with your fears. I am not trustworthy for you to be your own self with me. And that's a terrible feeling Anu. It's a terrible state to be in, for someone who is madly and irrevocably in love with someone. And that someone also reciprocates the love but doesn't trust the person." his words flowed without any filter.

Anupama's state worsened with those words and she started crying. She fell on her knees unable to suppress her sobs saying, "Aap mein koi kami nahi hai Anuj! Kami toh saare mujh mein hai. Aap toh purphekt ho. Aap itne purphekt ho ke mujhe apni kamiyan aur bhi zyada khalne lagi. Mai apke layak kabhi ban hi nahi sakti Anuj! Kabhi nahi ban sakti...kabhi nahi...kabhi nahi..." finally her wall of hesitation started crumbling.

Her words tore him apart. How could he push his Anupama to such an extent that she started considering herself as unworthy of him. But at that moment nothing felt more important than seeing his Anupama in that state. He immediately ran to her and was about to take her in his arms and console her but then he stopped. His own words stopped him from doing so.
