Marlowe went through shit as a young child. Her mother was alive but in reality not there anymore. Her father, still wanted to take care of her but everytime he looked at her, he sees his daughter.

So Marlowe lived with Steve's parents and they adopted her just in case he wanted to let her go. Then after being adopted, Marlowe went to go live with her granny for Steves and moms side.

Marlowe is one year younger than Steve. Steve and Marlowe were best of friends, once Steve became friends with Tommy. It all went down hill. Steve was mean and rude, when Tommy was around.

When Steve slowly drift away from hanging out with Tommy. Steve became closer to Marlowe.

Steve and Marlowe took Dustin and Will, they soon will meet up with El who was staying with Hopper but they called her Jane to stay on the safe side. Mike and his little sister Holly and Mrs. Wheeler came as well. Max didn't know about Jane so she didn't come.

As Marlowe came back from the bathroom, Marlow saw Billy flirting with Mrs. Wheeler. Thank God she turned him down. Knowing it would had been a one night stand. Nobody asked her out cause Steve would be the overprotective cousin.

Continuing to head back to their table, Marlow acted like it bother her. Billy brushed up against Marlowe. "Sorry Marlowe."

Knowing where that new came from he was a little pissed. "It's fine California." Going into the pool and plays Marco Polo with the kids and they seemed to have a whole lot of fun with Steve and Marlowe.

Still flirting away as Steve would rolls his eyes at Billy. Marlowe was ignoring the fact on what Billy was doing. Steve convince to take Mike and El along with Dustin that they would go to the mall and met up with Max and Lucas.

They went to see a movie and got ice cream, since it was Steves day off. Billy watching Marlowe walking away and out with the kids as they talked about going to see a scary movie.

A part of him wanted to go even if they didn't like him or if he liked them. Being a sort of something is all he wants. But then he thinks about his lame ass dad, he wants to get away from him so badly. So when he gets home he would just sit in his room alone.

Marlowe has a big family while living with her granny, her granny still lets her family live with her. So you got her fours kids. Three of them moved out, but if they needed a place to stay she would let them but wouldn't take there bullshit.

Steve dropped off but came in to see his granny. "That was interesting."

"What was?" Today was an okay but odd day of hers.

"California and Mrs. Wheeler." Steve stated as they got into the house. "Granny I brought her home safely." Since Marlowe is the only granddaughter of course she was spoiled by her granny in a good way.

"Yeah, no one got hurt while I was out." Rolling her eyes as one of her aunts was in the kitchen with granny and a son.

"That's good dear. Would any of you like tea or coffee?" Granny popped her head from the kitchen window.

"I'm good granny." Marlowe says in front of the TV.

"So am I." Sat right next to her.

"Staying over Steve?"

Shaking his head no as Steve messed with Marlow's hair. "Nah just wanted to stay for awhile. Oh and by the way gran I have a game tomorrow."

"That's nice dear. What time?"

"Six until eight." Standing up, granny had some freshly baked cookies and put them into a bag. "Thanks granny. I'll see you guys tomorrow."

Marlowe tilt her head up to look at Steve upside down. "See ya Steve."

Steve left as he went home and Marlow went into her room to finish up the rest of her homework.

More about Marlowe, even though her mother was dead and her father didn't want her, not that he didn't love her or anything. He had to give her up, because he loved her. Her father was going down the hill and he wanted the best for his daughter.

Her grandfather, beat her mother to death. It was her grandfather on the dad's side. They had to watch her being murder, her father would ask over and over to take him instead. It was a no go, her grandfather was so abusive to him as Marlow's dad  was growing up. Though Marlow blocked out most of it because of the terma, the screams were awful in her dreams.

Falling asleep on her desk while her aunt, gently woke her up. "Thank you aunt Kathy." As she went to the bathroom to change.

"You're welcome love." As she walked out of Marlowe's room.

Marlowe woke up for the next day of school it was close on being the last day. She looked at her flub of a stomach. Now she loved herself for a long time, but it took a long time for her to get there.

After school Marlowe wanted to talke to her granny about weight loss sugary. Now it's not common at this day of age, but it could be done. There wouldn't be on in Hawkins, but there is one three towns over. And if  Marlow does have this, she might feel a little bit more better about herself.

Steve and Marlowe was standing in the hallway talking about this idea that she had. "Mar, are you sure you want to do that?"

"I am Steve, do you think that granny will have my back?"

"If not, you know that I will do whatever I could to help you. If we can survive another month." Marlowe nods. "Wait is Tommy still picking on you about your weight?"

"Well... Just don't do anything. He introduce me as Marslowe, and I hate it. I asked to stop many of times. And you know how my anger gets."

"I know. We are all very lucky that you can't carry a frying pan to school. Cause I think if you did." Steve chuckles ad he took books out of his bag. "That we all be visiting you."

"Fair point. But you know I only hit for those who deserves it."

"Correct."

Steve had to stay behind and so did Marlowe, there granny was going to bring over dinner or pick up something for the both of them. Sitting in the bleachers and Marlowe finishing up her homework.

"Come to see me win this game?" Placing his stuff on the lower bleachers.

Looking up, California. Well Billy. "Oh so you are the only guy that is playing huh? That's odd I thought it was a team effort not all about California."

Billy chuckled. "You'll never use my name will you?"

"You have to stick around for a year before I can ever say your name." Looking at the cheerleaders. "Oh look your fans are here. You might want to go over and say hi."

Deep down he didn't care, but his act that he plays. Does want it. "Uh.. thanks." Grabbing his water bottle, Billy went to see the girls that were calling out his name.
