What If

Billy was planning to crash over at Marlowe's place to get back at her. To play like of nothing happen. Marlow would do her best to avoid Billy and his friends, taking different hallways to get to her classes.

Out in the hallway, as Marlowe was at her locker. Billy heads over to her locker, gently shoving her to the locker, turning her around to face him. "Hey there baby doll." When he smiled, girls would melt all over him. Marlow would smile right back at him. This time was different.

"What do you want California?" She wasn't going to have it, because Marlowe knew that he was only doing this to get under her skin.

"Awe come on don't be like that." Winking at her. Marlowe glared at him. Taking the hint that Marlowe wasn't going to budge. "Don't be like that.. I was wondering what plans you had tonight." Softly smacking his lips.

Closing her eyes then opening them after Billy stopped talking. Turning around, shutting the locker. "I'm out with Steve seeing a movie." Hopping that Billy would leave her alone.

"Oh are you?" Guessing that Marlow was paying hard to get. "What movie are you going to see?"

Looking back at Billy. "Why?"

Shrugging his shoulders. "Cause."

Nodding her head. "Right. Well see ya." Walking away from her.

Billy follows her as he stays with her. "I guess I wanted to know so I can tell you if it's a good movie or not."

Marlowe could guess that he wanted to invite himself so he could bug the shit out of both of them. "Thanks?" She wasn't sure what to think. "I think I can make my own judgement." A quick smile to Billy as Marlowe went to her class.

If she thinks that was going to be all that Billy was going to do. Boy she was wrong, cause he always has plans up his sleeve.

By the time Steve dropped off Marlowe from school, Buster was over fixing up some stuff. "Hey Mar mar." Finishing up putting back box that controls the lights.

"Hey uncle Buster. Helping granny out?" Shutting the door behind her.

"Yeah." Looking around to make sure that granny wasn't around. "Ready for Christmas?"

Placing her bag down on the table, then taking her coat off. "Kinda. Did you find a good tree for us?"

"I sure did! Oh! You and your family are going to love it!" He got excited. He doesn't really have any family then this one. His parents are dead and this family took him in. "I think that this tree will be better than last year." Taking his tool box.

"Where did you steal this from?" Buster and her uncle Michel, went to prison for stealing and robbing sometimes. But they haven't done something highly big in years. Just breaking in to do small jobs here and there.

"I bought it." He sighed.

"Uh-huh. From where?"

Granny comes into the kitchen. "Oh goodie your home!" Taking a glance a Buster. "Done?"

"Yes. I'll see you next week for the tree." Opening the door and then shutting it behind him.

Marlowe knows that the tool box had to be stolen. Scoffed when he left and then smiled at her granny. "Yeah. Steve is coming over to take me to the movies."

"He surely like to take you out on his dates." Shaking her head as she took Marlowe's bag off the table by handing it to her. "Do your homework, I'll bring you a snack in a moment." Shoeing her away with a dish towel that is dry.

"Alright. Alright." Placing the bag in her shoulders as she goes up to her room.

In her room, Marlow started her homework. Putting on some low music on as Marlowe started her homework. It was about a packet from math, write a story for English. Do a paper for history, then she would be done cause Marlowe would have gym later on. Almost being done granny did bring her a very small snack and then left so she could make dinner. Marlowe skipped dinner so she could go out with Steve to the movies. Even though, granny was right that Steve asked her out for most of these dates are a little weird. But maybe it's because in case something happened, he wasn't totally crazy. Steve came and got Marlowe, not thinking about Billy what so ever.

In the mall there is a movie theater, at the mall Billy was with a girl, who was so much prettier than Marlowe. Marlowe didn't look at Billy and this girl but Marlow imagined why Billy is with her. Getting into their seats, Steve hands Marlowe her candy and some nuts.

The movie hadn't started yet and Marlowe went to the bathroom real quick and Billy was walking behind Marlowe, tapping on her shoulder. Marlowe tuns around. Seeing Billy she glares at him for a quick second. "What do you need California?"

"Marlowe, this is Mandi. Mandi this is Marlowe, she Steve's cousin or sister. I can't remember." Being a jackass.

Putting her hand out. "Cousin by blood, sister by adoption." Mandi looked very confused but shook Marlowe's hand anyways.

"Nice to meet you. I'm new."

Marlowe listen to Mandi talk for awhile. "It was so nice to meet you. I'm so sorry to cut this, I have to go to the bathroom and meet up with Steve." Walking backwards towards the girls bathroom.

"Of course it was nice to meet you as well." When Marlowe had left, Mandi spoke to Billy where Marlowe could sorta hear the conversation. "She's not crazy Billy like you said she was. Marlowe seemed very nice and sweet."

Marlowe was pissed that Billy would be spreading rumors about her. But thought it would common for him to do. So Marlowe left the bathroom after washing her hands.

Sitting down next to Steve, who was making out with his date. Rolling her eyes as the movie was about to start. Marlowe could had stayed home. But no. Next time she will.
