Marlowe told the truth to Max about not really selling the car that she couldn't have the car fixed even if Billy wanted too. It's to much money. Max understood the lie. "Please just don't tell Billy."

"Like him and I are the best of pals in the world?" Max being sarcastic. Heads out to her mother's car. "I'll see ya later Mar!"

"See ya!" They waved to each other as Susan waved as well.

Headed back into her home, Billy called Marlowe. "Hello?" Marlowe answers the phone.

'Its Billy.'

"Hey California, Susan is on her way home with Max." Sitting on the kitchen chair. Crossing her arms as she was bored already with Billy.

'Okay. That's not what I'm calling about.'

"The what are you calling about?"

'About this morning.'

"California, I'm going to stop you right there. I don't care what the rhyme of reason is or was. Call me what you will. But I won't have it." Looking outside as it began to snow once more. "You can be sorry all you want too. I just know it will happen again." Granny walked into the kitchen talking to Buster. "I have to go Billy. I'll see you around." Hanging up as she could hear Billy talking to her.

Granny looked over at her granddaughter. "Everything alright love?"

"Peachy. What about you and uncle Buster?"

They looked at each other. "Fine." Saying in unison.

Getting up form the chair as she put it back. Going up stairs to take a bath. Then going back to her homework. Knock on her. "Come in."

Opening the door it was Steve. Steve came into her bedroom and sat on her bed. "So... I was wondering if you wanted to come to the movies, with me."

"And your date?" Turning her head meeting his eyes. "No date huh? What about Robin? I bet she'd love going with you."

Steve lies down on her bed. "Nope. She's into girls. Besides, she had a date."

"Steve.... why do you want me to go?" Without Steve saying anything. Granny walked pass her room.

"Your going little girl."

Marlowe sighs as she stood up. "Out. I'll meet you down stairs or in your car."

Sitting up and taking her hand. "I owe you one." Letting go of her, going down stairs and waited in his car for her.

Changing from her PJs to nice comfy clothing. Then headed down stairs. Granny was talking on the phone with aunt Kathy about adding some items to the list. Out the door to Steve's car.

Off to the movie theater, the snow had stopped. Picking out the movie and then getting popcorn. Sitting down, hearing Tommy and Tina laughing about something dumb. Ignoring the movie began. Steve thought this movie was going to be grand but sadly it wasn't. About three people going into a haunted house but it wasn't a house it was a hospital that was small and nothing happened.

Back at home, Marlowe waltz back into her room, without anyone knowing that Billy was in her room. He was standing right by her desk. Shutting the door behind her as she saw Billy.. kinda jumped and then headed over to push him a bit.

"What the hell California?"

Turning around with dried blood around his nose and around his right eye was black bruise. Marlowe sighed as she took a step back. "How did the other guy look?" Billy wasn't in the mood for playing.

"Don't. Just. Don't." Looken shakin up.

Marlowe sat on her bed. "Come'on." Patting a spot next to her.
