Hanbin carefully nudges the bedroom door open and peeks inside to check if his boyfriends were still asleep. A smile curves his lips when he sees they both were. Despite being a morning person, he didn't mind them sleeping in, since they both had long weeks at work. He slowly walks into the room and pulls open the curtains, flooding the room with sunlight. He hears Matthew grumble quietly, as the man rolls over to escape the light and continue his sleep. Oppositely, Hao flutters his eyes open, and stretches out his arms, before noticing Hanbin at the bottom of the bed.

"Morning." Hao greets him with a little wave, his voice deeper due to just waking up.

"Morning, I've made breakfast." Hanbin replies, though it was probably more correct to call it lunch. He puts his attention on the man still sleeping, leaning forward to gently shake him awake. "Matthew, it's time to wake up." He says softly.

"Hmmm five more minutes..." Matthew groans.

"Hanbin made breakfast." Hao chuckles, ruffling Matthew's hair. He glances over to Hanbin, who was equally amused at Matthew's refusal to get up.

Luckily, Hanbin knew just what to say to get Matthew out of bed. "I made french toast."

Matthew instantly springs up, his eyes shooting open. He snaps his head back and forth between his boyfriends, then shoves the sheets off him. "What are you guys waiting for?"

Now that Matthew had found a new spark of energy, the three men head off to the kitchen. Hanbin had set the table up beautifully, with a white table runner that had little flowers embroidered all over it, their best silver cutlery, and a fresh bouquet of summer flowers in the center. There were three plates of french toast, all customized exactly how everyone liked them. Matthew liked his with caramelized bananas, Hao always had a pile of berries on top of his, and Hanbin preferred his simple with only a light drizzle of honey.

"Wow this looks amazing!" Matthew says excitedly. He gives Hanbin a big hug and a kiss before taking his seat.

"Thank you for doing this." Hao also kisses Hanbin, then sits down.

Hanbin felt really happy, he always enjoyed seeing his boyfriends reactions to his cooking. It was his go to way of making them feel special.

"Any plans for today?" Hao starts the conversation.

Hanbin shakes his head lightly. "I don't mind, I'll do whatever you guys want to do."

"Then lets stay in," Hao smiles in relief. "I don't want to go out." He was most definitely a homebody, he couldn't help he was an introvert.

"Lets watch movies and eat snacks all day." Matthew chimes, happily taking a bite of his french toast.

"I think we're running low on snacks though." Hanbin replies, thinking back to a few days ago, when their friend Gyuvin came over and stole all their snacks.

Matthew seemed a bit disappointed, pouting at the awful news. "We can't watch movies without snacks..." His eyes veer off for a second, and you could almost see the cogs turning in his mind. Suddenly, he brightens up again. "We could make cookies! I've been craving cookies for ages." His boyfriends both laugh at how cute he was.

Hao throws his arms around Matthew and hugs him tight. "If you want cookies, we'll make cookies."

That sounded like the perfect activity for Saturday afternoon, so Hanbin had no complaints either. Plus it combined two of his most favourite things in the whole world, his boyfriends and baking.

Once they had finished breakfast, they all worked together to clean up and get everything ready for the cookie making.

"Make sure to wear your aprons." Hanbin appears holding two aprons in his arms. He bought these for his boyfriends a while ago, but they didn't bake that much together, and when they did, they always forgot to put them on.

He hooks the first one over Hao's head, then spins him around so he could tie it up. Hao's apron was white with pastel pink roses all over it. "Pretty just like you."

"Stop." Hao slaps his arm playfully.

"Hanbinnnnnn...it says to cream the butter and the sugar but the butter is too hard."

Hanbin glances over to Matthew, and immediately starts laughing. No wonder Matthew was struggling, he was trying to mix fridge cold butter with a wooden spoon. "Put your apron on first." He chuckles, placing the apron over Matthew's head. His one had little foxes all over it. "It's gonna take forever if you do it like that." He picks up the bowl and puts it into the microwave. As the butters melting he calls for Hao to get the hand mixer out of the cupboard.

"What would we do without you?" Matthew giggles.

"You wouldn't be eating cookies that's for sure." When the butter was melted enough, Hanbin sets up the hand mixer, and places the bowl on the counter. "Come here." He pulls Matthew in front of him, forcing the hand mixer into his hand. He turns the mixer on, and guides Matthew as he mixes the butter and sugar. "See, much easier, do you think you can handle it now?" Matthew looks back at him and nods confidently. Hanbin couldn't resist planting a kiss on his forehead.

With Matthew sorting that part out, Hanbin went over to check how Hao was coming along with measuring the ingredients.

"Why couldn't you have just bought chocolate chips?" Hao complains, putting his knife down with a huff. There was a whole board of chocolate in front him, some cut and some uncut.

"I didn't know we were going to make cookies." Hanbin replies, there was no need to buy chocolate chips normally. "Here, I'll do it." He makes sure to roll up his sleeves before picking up the knife. Cutting chocolate wasn't an easy job, it takes a lot of strength to do it continuously, but Hanbin prides himself on being pretty strong. It didn't take long for all the chocolate to be cut, and when he turns back to Hao, the man was smirking at him.

"Look at you showing off." Hao pokes at his arm muscles.

"It's why I work out." Hanbin laughs, scanning over the counter. It appeared that all the other ingredients were ready, and when he looked over at Matthew, he seemed to be done aswell.

After, adding an egg, some vanilla extract, flour, the chocolate and a sprinkle of salt, the dough was ready. He scoops out a table spoon at a time, forming little balls on the greased up trays he had prepared. Then he pops them in the oven, and all that was left to do was wait.

Ten minutes later and the cookies were done. Hanbin gave them about five minutes to cool down, so they were edible but still warm. Once they were on a plate, he took them through to the living room, instantly smiling at what he saw.

Hao and Matthew were cuddled up on the sofa under a big fluffy blanket, while Tangled played on the TV.

"Cookies are ready." Hanbin says, joining the two on the sofa. Hao quickly lifts the blanket up so he could climb under.

They spent the rest of the afternoon doing exactly what they planned. Eating cookies, watching films, and cuddling to their hearts content. It's not about where you go, it's about who you're with, and that's why this ended up being a perfect Saturday afternoon.
