- Camp Zerobaseone Part 4 -
"Where are we going?"
"Just come on."
The quiet night was disrupted, by the sound of two boys gleefully running through the streets, hand in hand, their shadows dancing in the light of the full moon. They were supposed to be getting ready for bed right now, and their manager would surely throw a fit if she knew that they weren't, but that didn't matter to them. All they cared about was being together.
Gyuvin suddenly comes to a halt, and plants himself in front of his boyfriend with the biggest smile on his face. "I wanted some alone time with you."
"But anyone could be around here..." Ricky says, glancing around cautiously.
"You worry too much." Gyuvin chuckles, knowing the perfect way to cull Ricky's fears. He takes a step towards him, leaving only a small proximity between them. His gaze flickers from the boys deep brown eyes, to his pretty pink lips, and back up again. All he can think about is how beautiful he looked under the moonlight. "I really love you, you know that right?" He whispers endearingly, his lips quirking upwards, as he can practically see the blush flooding to Ricky's cheeks. His boyfriend was never good at expressing his feelings, always getting too embarrassed to get the words past his lips, but Gyuvin had known him long enough, to know exactly what he was saying without him having to say a word. He brings his hand up slowly, and gently caresses Ricky's cheek, feeling how hot it had gotten now. He leans forward, both him and Ricky closing their eyes, his lips just about to make contact-
"So what did you want to talk about?"
Ricky instantly pulls away, snapping his head towards that voice. "It's Matthew hyung!" He whisper shouts in panic.
"What's the big deal- hey!" Gyuvin interrupts himself with a yelp, as he's dragged over to a bush, and forced to crouch behind it. He watches as Ricky carefully peeks between the leaves.
"Hanbin hyung's here too."
"Stop freaking out-" He tries to hold Ricky's hand, but the blonde slaps his hand away.
"What if they saw us?"
"Would it be so bad if they did?"
"Yes obviously!"
Gyuvin didn't know how to feel after that comment. Of course it hurt to hear Ricky say something like that, but he understood why he would. Ever since they started dating two years ago, Ricky had always been terrified of people finding out. He didn't want anyone to force them to break up, and so, he put a lot of effort into hiding their relationship.
"I'll go back first, then you can come back a bit later. Don't let them see you." Ricky states, before he runs off in the direction of their camper vans, making sure Hanbin and Matthew weren't aware of his presence.
Now alone, Gyuvin sighs and slumps down on the ground. He respected Ricky's desire to keep their relationship a secret, but he couldn't deny that it's the last thing he wanted. He loved his boyfriend so much, and he wanted the whole world to know. Although, he wasn't an idiot. Ricky's concerns were based in heavy truth; neither of them were permitted to date, let alone to date each other, but that didn't mean he had to hide it from everyone. He found himself growing closer to the ZB1 members day by day, and since his relationship was something very important to him, he wanted to tell them. However, he couldn't do anything, not unless Ricky was okay with it.
After spending a few minutes reflecting, Gyuvin realizes that enough time had probably passed for him to head back with no suspicion. So, he pushes himself off of the ground, deciding to check if Matthew and Hanbin were still there, but as he looks in that direction, his jaw drops.
