minho sighed as he locked his phone and placed it back on his bedside table, sinking further into his pillow. he was glad today and tomorrow weren't working days and he revelled in the extra hours of sleep he was able to get.
it was nice to talk to his friends and, he thinks, seeing the picture of the three of them yesterday made him feel happy.
it was like a piece of their past was still there, proof of all the high school days they spent and memories they made together.
he sighed and let out a small smile, watching as the morning sun greeted him through the blinds of his window, beams of gold sifting through and landing on his floor.
he was startled by the buzz of his phone, and he blinked a few times before picking it up to check the notification.

there was a pause before minho got a reply. he wondered whether it was because of the message he sent.
was it too flirty? was jisung embarrassed? uncomfortable? or maybe they just burned their egg while texting. minho shrugged and watched the three typing dots bounce up and down.

minho dropped his phone onto his face at the message, thoroughly surprised and taken aback.
sure, he flirted first and jisung was usually the more openly affectionate type - maybe it was the emoji. or maybe he hadn't got as much sleep as he would've liked despite the late hour.
calming himself, he picked up his phone and rubbed his forehead where he was hit, before locking it and sitting up from the bed.
he felt several of his bones crack, from having slept in the same position for too long, and he hauled himself out of his duvet, lugging over to bathroom to get ready before going downstairs.
