Leon's POV: I look down at the picture of the young girl wondering how all of us got here... again. In such a similar situation. I can't imagine how scared she is.

I let my thoughts wander as I look from the window back to the picture. "So, tell me Yanqui... why did you come to this horrible place? As close to nowhere i've ever seen?"

The police in the passenger seat, or my so called "Escort" turns around making conversation as I pull away from the outside view.

"Let's just say— looking for someone." I turn my attention back to the window letting my head rest on my balled up fist. "That someone must be very important , eh? The chief gave the orders himself. "Help him," he said." He nudges the driving escort letting out a small chuckle.

"We'll, i'm sure you boys didn't come all the way out here to roast marshmallows. ...Or maybe you did." I let my eyes get lost in the trees passing by again.

"You have a strange sense of humor. I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. Just between us... A lot of people have gone missing around here. And it's been that way for a while now." He looks at me through the rear view mirror as I return his gaze.

He hands me a small picture of a familiar looking girl who appears to be crying. Her beautiful H/C hair, those stunning eyes. A gut feeling fills my stomach as I take in the girl in the picture. So... familiar. Wait...Y/N? NO! She can't be here. It's impossible right... I mean Of all places this isn't where I wanted to find her again. In danger. Shit.

"Hey, this girl? Do you know anything about her? Where'd you get this?" I show him the picture he had previously given to me pressing questions frantically. He turns his attention to the window now staring as if he got lost in a thought as I ask the question.

"Last week there was a search for some missing hikers, but no. I know nothing about her. Just that she's missing. A co worker handed me the picture before we set off. Told me to look for any survivors but it's unlikely." He trials off looking back through the windshield.

"I'm sure you'll do your best to help me... I'm gonna find them." I say watching him share a smirk with the driving escort as back to the window I go.

We weren't driving much longer before we had arrived. The place had eerie written all over it.

"Nature calls, eh? I'll be right back." The cop in the passenger seat turns around winking at me before getting out of the car, looking for a path to go take a leak.

I take in my surroundings analyzing everything I can as the driver takes out a pack of cigarettes, putting one in his mouth. "You smoke?" He asks, earning an irritated wave from me.

There appears to be a wooden figure with two boards tied together attached to the top front of it. Almost like a cross but different, with a completely different meaning too...

"He sure is taking his time. Did he fall in?" He questions while looking at the path the man had previously walked.

"Maybe you better go and take a look?" He hints to me, catching is eye in the rear view mirror.

I step out of the car looking back to him as if he were to get out. Wishful thinking. "I'll watch the car. Wouldn't want to get a parking ticket." He shoots me a smirk as I ignore the snarky tone in his voice.

We don't have time for this. Shit, I can't stop thinking about her. It's been so long... She has to be okay. Right?

"So much for helping me." I clear the tree branches that blocked my view of the path, moving cautiously towards the village.

It's eerie, broken and abandoned houses and wooden buildings take place of what was probably once a beautiful place. Spain was known for it's beauty. What the hell happened here?
